There is nothing like the brotherhood of the Fruit of Islam.

CHICAGO (FinalCall.com) - The Student Supreme Captain of the Nation of Islam, Mustapha Farrakhan, met with top Final Call distributors from Muhammad Mosque Number 1 in Detroit, Michigan, as well as many members of the Fruit of Islam (F.O.I.) involved in the resurrection work here at Mosque Maryam May 22.

The Supreme Captain emphasized that providing service to the community is the primary mission and the purpose of going door to door—like Master Fard Muhammad did—in order to properly assess the needs of area residents. It is not just about The Final Call, it is about having the spirit of a saviour, showing love to suffering Black people, and giving them hope.

“That’s how you have to perceive yourself! I am a saviour, which is an extension of The Saviour! You come in the spirit of a redeemer. The Fruit of Islam are an extension of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan carrying the word of God to our people,” he said.

“When you sacrifice your life and the lives of your children for something bigger, then we have a beautiful chance to plug our lives into that which is immortal.. As we are struggling for the establishment of freedom, justice, and equality and as we struggle for the redemption of our people, it is an honor to serve on this level and it is an honor to ultimately give my life, for the freedom, justice and equality of a people.”

Using the example of the inclement weather that struck the majority of the United States this winter and is still punishing portions of the country, he said there may be elderly people who need assistance, perhaps food, maybe other maintenance work needs to be done on their homes. This is the responsibility of the Muslims, he noted.

“We are the protectors of our communities,” said Mr. Farrakhan. “When you are rendering services like that to our people, you are solidifying yourself and making it hard for your enemies to uproot you,” he said.

The people have confidence in the word contained in The Final Call because it is not controlled by external advertising dollars. The reliable and committed F.O.I. sales force in the cities of America consistently deliver the truth to the people as well. Minister Farrakhan’s example of integrity is the key to the confidence the people have in the words contained in The Final Call, he said.

“If you look at the person that produced The Final Call, he’s the freest Black man on the planet, so by him being the freest Black man on the planet, he is not afraid to tell the truth regardless to whom or what because of the deep love that he has for his people. There has to be a price that we pay for delivering the truth, but delivering the truth means our people rise, and as our people rise, somebody else is falling,” said Mr. Farrakhan.

The faster the people of God rise, the faster their enemies of truth fall, and their wicked grip on this world is broken, he continued. The more the men of the F.O.I. display the love and spirit of service Minister Farrakhan shows, the more people will respond to the truth.

“The only reason they would reject you is because they don’t know you, and those of us who carry The Final Call have to be unalike because unalike attracts and like repels,” said Mr. Farrakhan. “Our people are out there dying, because the saviours have not been out there to save them,” he added.

The Muslim followers of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad are righteous, upright, moral, and courageous and for that reason, have been targeted for persecution, but the sacrifice is worth it, he noted.

“When you sacrifice your life and the lives of your children for something bigger, then we have a beautiful chance to plug our lives into that which is immortal,” he said. “As we are struggling for the establishment of freedom, justice, and equality and as we struggle for the redemption of our people, it is an honor to serve on this level and it is an honor to ultimately give my life, for the freedom, justice and equality of a people.”

After hearing inspirational and motivational words from the Supreme Captain, the men went out into the field into the highways and the by-ways reaching people with the latest edition of The Final Call. Led by Hashim Hakim Muhammad, the originator of The Final Call distribution and Muslim outreach technique known as “The P.A.T.H.” (Patience Attraction Technique Humility) which is also outlined in his newly released book.

Allen Reed, a processing brother from Muhammad Mosque No. 1 is among the top Final Call distributors in Detroit delivering an average of 300 copies to customers weekly. It was his first time inside the opulent Mosque Maryam in Chicago, and he said he was nearly speechless when he entered. Then hearing words of wisdom directly from the Supreme Captain was an added bonus making it a day that he would not soon forget.

“It is so beautiful and clean, watching it from the internet is one thing, but finally actually getting to see the doors Minister Farrakhan comes out of was overwhelming,” said Brother Allen. He also said he will continue working to display the actions and confidence of a “man on a mission.”
