CHICAGO—Responding to outrageous and false claims by Alan Dershowitz, the Jewish attorney, the Nation of Islam issued a public rebuttal to his online screed charging Nation of Islam Minister Louis Farrakhan with anti-Semitism and making threats.

Atty. Abdul Arif Muhammad, general counsel of the Nation of Islam hurled the written response. His defense of Min. Farrakhan responded to the false charges lodged after the Minister’s July 4 address, “The Criterion,” and appears on pages 4 and 5 of this edition of The Final Call Newspaper.

Mr. Dershowitz’s lies were published July 8 and included the falsehood that Min. Farrakhan “threatened” the Jewish attorney, said Min. Arif Muhammad.

“There was no threat, to inflict physical harm upon you. In fact, his (Min. Farrakhan’s) words on July 4th were directed at you, because you were the one advancing a threat, which was publicly advocating that the government could forcibly vaccinate citizens against their will,” said Atty. Arif Muhammad.

“It is deceitful, how you sanitized your words in the article, that you were ‘urging people to take COVID-19 vaccine if a safe and effective one were developed.’ Here is the main thrust of your words as published in your May 19 statement: ‘If you refuse to be vaccinated, the state has the power to literally take you to a doctor’s office and plunge a needle into your arm.’ ”

“These are your words Mr. Dershowitz. So, you were threatening to have the constitutional rights of the American people taken from them by the State,” added Atty. Arif Muhammad. Mr. Farrakhan was “responding to your advocacy for forced vaccinations,” he said.

“As the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan on July 4th concluded with a prayer, we end this response, with his words,  on that same wise. ‘May Allah fill you (the righteous) with knowledge, wisdom, understanding, and power that we together may put to a perpetual flight Satan, the arch deceiver, the imposter Jews who are worthy of the chastisement of God.’”
