Ashahed
M. Muhammad is the Assistant Editor of
The Final Call, the most widely circulated independent
Black weekly in the United States. His interviews and writings
are widely read by those looking for balanced information and
alternative viewpoints.
Jesse Muhammad is a Staff Writer for The Final
Call and has received rave reviews for his coverage of stories that the
mainstream media tends to overlook. He is credited with bringing national and
international attention to the historic case of the "Jena Six". He is also a
motivational speaker with over a decade of experience speaking to diverse
audiences across the country.
Charlene Muhammad is the Western Region
Correspondent for The Final Call. Mrs. Muhammad's media background includes
magazine editing and radio production, broadcasting and news
writing. She is the Associate Producer of "Front Page," a
daily talk radio program which airs on 102.3 FM/KJLH Radio in
Inglewood, California.
Askia Muhammad is Senior
Correspondent for The Final Call newspaper. In 1996,
1997, and 1998 he reported from more than 50 countries on six
continents during three World Friendship Tours led by Minister
Louis Farrakhan, Publisher of The Final Call. He is also
News Director at WPFW-FM, Pacifica Radio in Washington, DC.
Nisa Islam Muhammad is a senior staff writer
for The Final Call and a member of the National
Association of Black Journalists. Ms. Muhammad is a
graduate of the University of Maryland Baltimore County and
studied journalism at Howard University. She has also written for
Newsday, the Washington Informer, Azizah Magazine and
politicallyblack.com.
