(FinalCall.com) - The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan's speech on education will highlight the Nation of Islam's Muhammad Univeristy of Islam fundraiser webcast on Sunday, August 3, 2008 at 3pm Central Time.
Live from Chicago's Christ Universal Temple and hosting its first ever live 'Virtual Fundraiser' the Muhammad University of Islam aims to utilize the donation-based webcast to raise funds to support its goal for independent education.
Muhammad University of Islam was established in 1934 by the Honorable Elijah Muhammad in the city of Detroit, Michigan. The Muhammad Universities of Islam were born from the need to revive, reform and redeem black people who had suffered from the mis-education and hostility in the public school system.
Muhammad University of Islam literature states, "Our children are taught self-mastery. Mastery of self is the key to mastery of all disciplines because in some way every discipline is present within ourselves. The students are taught to relate the forces within self to the forces that lie outside the self. This connects the student to the disciplines that they are studying in a manner that enables them to ultimately master that discipline."

According to organizers, the fundraiser will require a donation of $15 or more and viewers may log into the webcast as early as 2:30pm Central Time.
