(FinalCall.com) - The Bush administration is pushing the International Criminal Court to issue an arrest warrant for Omar Hassan al-Bashir, president of the Sudan. No other government in the world is charging Sudan with genocide except the American government under President Bush.
The Sudan has a tremendous amount of oil that is being shipped to India, Malaysia and China. America needs this oil and Iraq is a classic example of how America and the UK are willing to go to war for oil.
If anyone should be charged with a campaign of terror and genocide it should be President George Bush and his war council. Look at the facts. The Bush administration reports only 30,000 to 40,000 civilian deaths have taken place in Iraq. According to reports from the Middle East, those numbers are drastically understated. One report says more then 700,000 men, women and children have been killed. Men and women have been tortured, women have been raped, there are over 2 million refugees. Over 4,000 U.S. solders have been killed and over 30,000 young solders have been seriously wounded since this unholy invasion in March 2003 that was based on a lie told to the House, the Senate and the American people.
The current administration has been pushing for regime change in the Sudan since President Bush came into office. He lobbied to send troops into the Sudan but Condoleezza Rice, secretary of state, advised President Bush against this move, as this would have been the third Muslim country America was warring with.

Much of this oil is located in the southern part of Sudan where the Sudanese People Liberation Movement, a political party, is dominant. The American government is lobbying the SPLM to vote for separation in a 2011 referendum in which the people of Southern Sudan will decide if they want to remain a part of Sudan or form a separate government. If America is successful in getting the SPLM to form a separate government, then America will have access to the oil.
The American government is determined to topple the National Congress Party, the ruling party in Sudan, and to demonize its leader President al-Bashir. This attempt is to break up the Sudan into three or four separate entities, making it impossible for the Sudanese people to unite and keeping them at war while the Western World robs Sudan of natural resources—oil being the chief one.
The breakup of the Sudan and the arrest warrant issued for its leader are against everything the African Union stands for. The African Union needs to stand up in unison to denounce the action of the International Criminal Court against one of their own. Today it is President al-Bashir and tomorrow it could any African Leader that the West disapproves of.
There is a religious saying in North Africa and the Middle East: “When an unrighteous man brings you news look carefully into it least you harm a people in error and be sorry for what you did.”
