Is the Jewish Talmud Anti-Black and Anti-Christian? Part 1

(FinalCall.com) - In reading the 16 page response from Dr. Harold Brackman and the Wiesenthal Center brain trust I am left greatly disappointed. I was expecting some serious scholastic jousting. The Historical Research Department of the Nation of Islam in Volume 2 of The Secret Relationship Between Blacks and Jews (TSRV2) has proffered a 500-page document with nearly 2,000 footnotes and the Wiesenthal Center's retort is only 16 pages with 42 footnotes. They make 6 major points to refute what they call “myths” within the book while TSRV2 makes 32 major points in just the introduction alone, none of which are even addressed by the Wiesenthal Center's report. So from the very start before any criticisms of content are considered, the Wiesenthal Center has lost a battle of intellectual attrition.

What has drawn my ire is really the audacity and arrogance of Mr. Brackman. He begins by expressing a fear that “The Secret Relationship Between Blacks and Jews” Volume 2 threatens to end what he terms as “the historic Black-Jewish alliance for civil rights.” Is he serious?

Mr. Brackman also flagrantly pens that polls show that Blacks nationwide have higher levels of “anti-Semitism” than do Whites because of “less education and more religious prejudice.” Again, is he serious? So then if we are to believe Mr. Brackman, Black disapproval of Jewish anti-Black behavior is the result of lack of education and religious prejudice on the part of Black people—what an insult to Black intelligence and dignity! This is a great display of the true sentiments of Mr. Brackman and those who share his thinking. Now what will surprise most in the Black community is that this thinking and belief about Black people surprisingly grows out of the Jewish sacred text The Talmud.

I should say that the Wiesenthal Center does not represent the true Jew. Their ignominious history does not bear any evidence of being in possession of a covenant relationship with Jehovah (God) through the teachings of the prophets of the Torah. To that extent the Jewish merchant, mayors, rabbis and lawmakers represented in TSRV2, who made merchandise and a prey of the unlearned and vulnerable Black slaves fail the true Jew test as well. To claim to be a Jew is to be one who is a blessing to the human family. Mr. Brackman seems to delight in the notion that Jews were the lesser of two evils that the Black man and woman had to choose from, the worse being the Gentile Whites. He claims that Jewish shopkeepers and merchants did not treat Black people ‘as bad' as did Gentile Christian Whites. He cites as an example of a ‘middle of the road position' Aron Bronson who said that he came to America “for a living, not a crusade.” Now I remember that the Torah promised that Israel would be a holy nation, a kingdom of priests (Exodus 19). The Torah cites the patriarch of the Hebrews as Abraham and in three places in the book of Genesis (chapters 12, 18 and 22) it says that his seed will be the source of blessing to all of the families of man. They would do this by bringing in justice, law and truth to replace injustice, lawlessness and falsehood where ever they would find it. What Mr. Brackman delights in is not the actions of the true Jew/Hebrew. He wrote that the southern Jewish merchant extended credit to slaves which had no visible means to repay the credit except the prospect of future harvested crops. Brackman considers this generosity when in reality it created for the Black man only a new form of slavery by means of indebtedness. Considering the previous status of chattel slaves that the newly freed slaves once occupied the slavery of indebtedness is no blessing at all when that which was needed was independence.

To be a blessing would mean that Jews would be to others as God had been to them. The Torah reveals that God forgave the Children of Israel of their sins against Him; God shared with them special knowledge called ‘revelation' through prophets; he delivered them from their captivity; he punished and destroyed their enemies and promised to use them to bring fallen man back into favor with God. What is revealed in TSRV2 is a record of the opposite behavior.

The book reveals that at the root of Jewish anti-Black behavior is actually religious teaching coming via what has come to be revered as a sacred text by many Jews called the Talmud. There is a tiny Jewish sect who makes considerable effort to eschew the Talmud and adhere to the Torah alone. These are the Karaites, a group which, historically, has been most hated and severely persecuted by the orthodox Jewish rabbinate. The Ethiopian Jews have no knowledge of the Talmud, as it is the product of European Jewry.

The Talmud is not the Torah. The Torah is also known as the Old Testament of the Christian Bible. The Talmud purports to be a Rabbinical Commentary on the Torah for the purpose of guiding every aspect of Jewish life. The most revered is known as the Babylonian Talmud. It is a book that contains 4500 pages of the opinions of leading Jewish Rabbis. It is viewed as a holy writing and it is closely guarded.

Anti-Jesus and Anti Christian

Now in terms of an historic Black-Jewish alliance, which is essentially Black Christians allied with White Jews, consider this from page 68 of TSRV2:

[I]n addition to a series of scurrilous sexual allegations against Jesus, the Talmud states that his punishment in hell is to be immersed in boiling excrement…[and]Jews are instructed to burn, publicly if possible, any copy of the New Testament that comes into their hands.²²⁵

Footnote 225 cites as the source of this revelation the book “Jewish History, Jewish Religion” written by Hebrew University professor Israel Shahak in chapter 2 titled “Prejudice and Prevarication.” The footnote includes from professor Shahak the admission that the practice of burning the gospel (New Testament) takes place in modern times citing that on March 23, 1980 where “hundreds of copies of the New Testament were publicly and ceremonially burnt in Jerusalem under the auspices of …a Jewish religious organization subsidized by the Israeli Ministry of Religions!

On May 21, 2008 the USA Today ran an article titled “Israeli Youths Burn New Testament.” The article revealed that Or Yehuda, Deputy Mayor Uzi Aharon got on a loudspeaker and drove through his town ordering all copies of the New Testament, which had been shared by Christian missionaries, to be turned in for burning. The article goes on to describe Mayor Aharon's response: “He said he regretted the burning of the books, but called it a “commandment” to burn materials that urge Jews to convert. “I certainly don't denounce the burning of the booklets,” he said. “I denounce those who distributed the booklets.”

Thanks to TSRV2 we now understand that the “commandment” spoken of by Mayor Aharon originates in the Talmud. We can also see that there is a definite connection between this “commandment” and the antics of Rev. Terry Jones of Dove World Outreach in Gainesville, Florida, who had planned to lead his devotees in the first “Burn a Qur'an Day” on September 11, 2010. Could this be what the term Judeo-Christian means in today's world? But wait doesn't Rev. Jones claim to be a minister of Jesus? I wonder if he knew that the Talmud advocates Jesus being boiled in excrement mean anything to him? This writer would recommend Rev. Jones consider the truth of the Qur'an's position with respect to Jesus. From Geoffrey Parrinder's book “Jesus in the Quran” I cite the following passage:

“The Qur'an gives a greater number of honourable titles to Jesus, than to any other figure of the past. He is a ‘sign', a ‘mercy', a ‘witness' and an ‘example'. He is called by his proper name Jesus, by the titles Messiah (Christ) and Son of Mary, and by the names Messenger, Prophet, Servant, Word and Spirit of God. The Quran gives two accounts of the annunciation and birth of Jesus, and refers to his teachings and healings, and his death and exaltation. Three chapters or Suras of the Qur'an are named after references to Jesus (3, 5 and 19); he is mentioned in fifteen suras and ninety-three verses. Jesus is always spoken of in the Qur'an with reverence; there is no breath of criticism, for he is the Christ of God.”

Thus it is easy to see that the honor bestowed on Jesus in the Qur'an is in stark contrast to the disturbing characterization of him in the Talmud.
