We are living in the Last Days of this present world ruled by Satan. How do you know? What are the signs to look for? According to the Book of Matthew, Chapter 24, verses 6-7, “And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.”

Many countries are witnessing the fires of war and many more are on the verge. There is war in Egypt, Libya, Iraq, Syria, and a list of other countries throughout Asia and Africa. There is a war right here in the United States against Black youth. We see nation rising against nation. Palestinians are rising up against Israelis. People, specifically young people, all over the world are rising up against governments and starting revolutions. Black people in America are rising due to recent police brutality and police killings against young Black males and females. There is also a spiritual war going on inside each and every one of us, and there is a war against the minds of the people.

Famine, which is a widespread shortage of food, is prevalent in many countries. Thousands of people, from Africa to the Middle East to Europe, die due to famine, and even America’s stores are experiencing food shortages, though not to a great extent. The Somalia famine in 2010-2012 is deemed as one of the worst famines in recent years.

In Part 30 of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan’s 58-week online series “The Time and What Must be Done,” he pointed out some startling statistics:

“Nearly 7.7 million people are known as “the working poor,” workers who have incomes that put them below the poverty line. There are 49 million people—16 percent of the American population—who are now in poverty, and 11 million of them are Black,” said the Minister.

“There are 10 million American children in poverty, whereas 39 percent of Black children under 18 years of age live in poverty, and 32 percent of households headed by single women are poor.”

Although America is not yet suffering from famine, many Americans are going hungry and the population of people living without the basic necessities of life is rising,” he added.

Not only are thousands of people experiencing famine, but thousands are experiencing pestilence. Pestilence is “a fatal epidemic disease.” The Ebola virus is making its way through the African populations while Jamaicans are experiencing a virus known as Chikungunya which is spread by mosquitoes. Not only are these viruses spreading, but AIDS is as lethal as ever and is affecting Africans and Black people in America. As of recent, there’s an outbreak of a virus in Uganda known as the Marburg Virus, and a respiratory virus known as the Enterovirus D68 is striking children in the United States.

In the Fall of America, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad states, “There are earthquakes and the sea is raging. The Pacific Ocean is now angry and is raging and tossing up great waves as never before.” Haiti is still recovering from the effects of the devastating earthquake that hit her in 2010 while California is being hit over and over again with earthquakes. Many more great earthquakes are on the way.

With wars, rumors of wars, nations rising against nations, famines, pestilences, and earthquakes all going on right now as you read these words, do you doubt that we are living in the Last Days?
