“Say:  I am only a warner; and there is no God but Allah, the One, the Subduer (of all)—The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Mighty, the Forgiving.  Say:  It is a message of importance, From which you turn away.” –Holy Qur’an, Surah 38, verses 65-68

The question has been raised as to why I am being guided to share some of my personal background history dispersed throughout this current series of articles focused on the elevated expression of Islam’s higher meanings inspired through the Divine Teachings of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad.  I am unable to go any deeper into the root teachings of the Master on the cause and effect of all things in the Divine Creation without reflecting on some of my own personal experiences when first coming to the path of Islam.  It was in the formative years of my growing up in the racial divide during those turbulent stages of our Black presence in America with the history of slavery we experienced for over 400 years.

From the moment I came to birth proceeding through the dark tunnel or canal, leaving my mother’s womb, I was cut short from the remembrance of my Lord and the consciousness of my previous worlds of existence. Today is a continual spiritual journey of awareness of the multitude of past experiences bringing me into the present moment of reality.  We repeat life in cycles of beginnings and endings learning the lessons of each interval in this cycle with the hopes that we will not repeat them again as we perfect the Knowledge of God in ourselves.  This is why the Master came to make Himself known to the public for the first time after trillions of years to unite all of humanity as One.

The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad taught us that one must know the past history in order to understand the present which guarantees our future.  Our lives are patterned on those who came before us.  We are all acquainted with the expression that we have lived past lives.  What does this mean, and how does this happen?  The Honorable Elijah Muhammad has taught us this concept through his own example of reading certain books assigned to him by Master Fard Muhammad in the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C., while he was on the run from his enemies for seven years up and down the East Coast of America from 1935 to 1942.   On May 8, 1942, he was arrested by FBI agents in Washington, D.C. with an Executive Order from The White House issued by former president, Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

The Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad taught us that Master Fard Muhammad’s Father purchased very expensive books and manuscripts from highly placed individuals and rulers for his son to study in preparation for his Mission to search and find our lost-found nation and people in America and return us back home again.  He further stated that in those books were references to his history and work that he would accomplish.  This same method of teaching has come all the way down to us today.  It was through this method of reading past histories that the Honorable Elijah Muhammad came to know himself, step by step, and guided me directly into the understanding of his Domestic Life and aspects of the role I would play rooted  in Muhammad’s history and the Holy Qur’an.

This is the same process that is being utilized to revive our dead nation and people today.  As the Honorable Elijah Muhammad has stated, we will find everything written about ourselves in a book.

We are fulfilling some of those past histories of the prophets and their communities in our lifetime in its latter day fulfillment so that we will never have to repeat these histories again.  After fulfilling these histories, we will begin to write our own history based on a New World of Thought rooted in the Mind and Thinking of the Supreme Being Himself.

Awakening in the strange and isolated city of Detroit, Michigan, parented by a struggling mother and father and community, as the rejected spoils of war is part of the pain we inherited living in this strange world separated from our own.  Our inherited DNA and genetic material composed of all racial types has been coded and molded into our appearances and experiences of our present lifestyles.

Being strangers in a strange land, cutoff from our own, has become our lot, but we must be fearless and bold with the determination to overcome all hostilities and attacks until we reach the pinnacle of greatness in this world’s life and journey to the other side to see the Light of a New day.  As we peel away the mud and dirt of our burial shroud and walk these winding streets in the cities of this cruel land, carry high your beacons of light of the Truth that is now being made yet known.   As our journey nears its end, rejoice that God is Nigh.

What lost worlds have we forgotten as we came forth from our mother’s womb? What stagnant wasteland and wilderness have we entered where noise and static reigns pitched with useless arguing and raised, pompous voices likened to tingling brass and fire interwoven with violent fighting.   Obscene gatherings amass in sex brothels and dens of thieves, murderers and ruthless criminals conducting their  schemes of witchcraft running rampant in the streets, with houses set in rows where there is no peace of mind or harmony, only insanity and perversity.  We find no tranquility, nor contentment of mind in heavenly abodes.  How did I ever descend to Central High School in the city of Detroit and survive where roaming bandits run at large?

What has become of my delightful friend who carried me to my sacred home and attuned me to the frequencies and memories of my universal being?  How did I come to be a sojourner on this vile path dispersed from cosmic dust, from stellar worlds in flight?  I see the flying shields and disks in the air converging with this muddy world of fate searching for enlightened souls who await, going home again to our paradise estate.

Whence came I to these sordid shores and plains, will I be revitalized and renewed again and restored back to the treasure of my Lord?  Why is it now, the time that I remember, those former days of happiness and joy, with flashbacks to my earlier years, before I was separated from my beloved Lord?

In the rapid beating of my heart and in the pulsations of my mind, I have acted out many parts of my story in plays and in theatre in my youth where “Sleeping Beauty” was awakened by the Prince after she had been poisoned by needles and drugs; where Jesus was no stranger nor his robe captured by thieves who saw Jesus’ mother as she wept at the cross of thorns pleading to God to save her beloved son.

Where is the young man that visited me in school, helping me to find my way back home?  Where is my flying ship of destiny calling me to my secret rendezvous?  I dreamed one night that it came to pass a ship glowing like gold appeared at the window of my house in a glow; and when I reached out to touch it, my future was already known; but can I bear to accept it or am I a forsaken? soul.  Where is the prophet; where is the king; where is the Prince in shining armor that showed me my future state of being?  Like a child, my tears have become a flood harkening to the call of Allah to return to our heavenly home in peace.  We are all gods and children of the Most High God!

“I have no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contend. Only this is revealed to me that I am a plain warner.” —Holy Qur’an, Surah 38, verses 69-70
