Minister Louis Farrakhan’s World Friendship Tour III—Entering the Lands of Genghis Khan’s Expansive EmpireBy Mother Tynnetta Muhammad | Last updated: Feb 18, 2013 - 1:14:05 PM
“The hour drew nigh and the moon was rent asunder. And if they see a sign, they turn away and say: Strong enchantment! And they deny and follow their low desires; and every affair is settled. And certainly narratives have come to them, which should deter—Consummate wisdom—but warnings avail not.” –Holy Qur’an, Surah 54, verses 1-5
While visiting Dagestan in Central Asia as part of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan’s delegation on the World Friendship Tour III, we had a harrowing experience of learning from our airline pilot from Pakistan that while attempting to land our aircraft through mountainous terrain in the Caucasus Mountains to land in Dagestan, he avoided a plane crash by realizing that the tower signals on the ground control were not guiding him correctly to the landing sight.
Within a few days of our visit with our host family, the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan had planned to visit nearby Chechnya when we were told that our compound was encircled by several Russian police representing the KGB, who were posted to prevent our visit to this nearby city. Later, the next day, we were preparing to depart and were informed that the airport officials were adding some further taxes and fees on our aircraft before we were able to leave on schedule for our next stop. Almighty God, Allah, intervened in this affair and after many long hours being held up at the airport, we were finally permitted to depart. I remember while we were waiting that we were introduced to a gentleman and representative from the Caucasus Mountains region who identified himself as being a member of the Nation of Islam, the same identification of nationhood that we represent in the Nation of Islam in the West.
I remember with all earnestness the Honorable Elijah Muhammad’s words stating that we in the West were to be joined with other members of our universal Nation of Islam around the world. He further explained that we were the lost members of that great universal nation and brotherhood that we would someday be reunited with our own. Once again on the World Friendship Tour III, we later visited Bangladesh on the Bay of Bengal in India, a country which once formed Pakistan but was partitioned into a separate state to itself. One of my lasting memories was attending several scholarly meetings with their scientists questioning the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan about our Nation’s position and connection to the Islamic world.
At a closing press conference held at the Press Club, we observed upon entering the large room to face the press, one large banner which stretched across the wall behind a long table where some of the press members were seated to greet Minister Farrakhan. What stood out was the way in which they spelled his name. It was printed in bold, black letters to read: Welcome to Minister “Farra-Khan.” Once again we are becoming acquainted with the significance that this big name “Khan” has in this region of the world which links us to Pakistan, India, and Southeast Asia.
My mind reflected upon Minister Farrakhan’s testimony on what the Honorable Elijah Muhammad said to him about the significance of his name and why he named him Farrakhan and not Muhammad as his National Representative. Indeed he had dreamed that his true name was Muhammad and it is. However, under the name Farrakhan, he was acting in the role as the Honorable Elijah Muhammad’s helpmeet in connecting our nation to other nations and people throughout the world. Even as Genghis Khan and his Golden Family and descendents fulfilled their prophetic role of destiny in the East, so would the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan (Farra-Khan) accomplish this mission in the West joining and uniting East and West together as one Great Confederation of nations representing all people of all religious beliefs.
As we traveled to many diverse countries on his World Friendship Tour III, we also visited Korea, hosted by the late Reverend Sun Myung Moon and his wife, Hak Ja Han, family members and spiritual leadership of the Unification Church. We learned in one of our luncheon meetings from the Honorable Minister Farrakhan, who knew that I was doing a special study and research on the Mongolian nation and Genghis Khan, that the Korean people traced their origin to Mongolia and the Al-Tai Mountains.
Was this a sign to be fulfilled in the lives of a people and the spiritual leaders of the Nation of Islam that were destined to inherit God’s kingdom on earth? Would the rise of the crescent moon and star with the background of the Sun rising in the West represent the beginning stages of a nation and people that God has chosen as the new world elite of God’s new world kingdom on earth? We conclude quoting from the book written by P. Davaanyam on page 6.
“The Mongolian Khan’s philosophy holds that there are three worlds—the stars, the earth and the world of human thought, says Davaanyam, who recently defended a doctorate in the philosophy of the Mongolian Khans at the Academy.” He says, “There is no division or opposition between them. No discrimination or division on the basis of class or social status. … Davaanyam, author of numerous articles on history and politics, and one of the founders of the movement for a nuclear-free Central Asia, does not believe that philosophy stands apart from politics. National development, he feels, goes hand-in-hand with a developed consciousness. So the Academy of Chingges Khaan is also dedicated to promoting civil society in Mongolia. And Davaaynam believes that thoughts of the Khaans can apply to just about everything. Chingges Khaan is more renowned as a military leader than a philosopher, but P. Davaanyam wants to change that perception.”
“So turn away from them. On the day when the Inviter invites them to a hard task—Their eyes cast down, they will go forth from their graves as if they were scattered locusts, Hastening to the Inviter. The disbelievers will say: This is a hard day!” –Holy Qur’an, Surah 54, verses 6-8
