We continue our fascinating journey into the Mind of God with the following reflections by Bro. Jamal Malik Muhammad from the Inland Empire in California.

“When I first got the call to go to Mexico and be a part of this profound journey, “Expedition into the Mind of God,” I already knew that I wanted to be there, so I cleared my schedule and I started making plans to go. After I got the time off, the next thing to do was to get the funds to go, now that was somewhat of a challenge because at that time I didn't have the funds to go. So it just so happened that I talked with Sis. Deborah of Columbus, Ohio, and

I told her what was going on. She told me to pray over it and say “it's done”. So I did and not only did I pray but I knew that the only way my prayer was going to be answered was that I had to have Faith, and go to work and have no Doubt in Allah. Believe it or not when I did those exact things, which is something as Muslims we are supposed to do, my prayer was answered. I sat with my parents and we came up with a plan that would help me to go, seeing how we all did not want me to miss out on this most profound moment in History. As the wise say, Seize the moment! And since time is getting away from us at a rapid pace, we really want to be found in every chance we get helping the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan deliver the Lost Sheep back to Almighty God Allah and His Living Christ, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad.

Once I got to Mexico, I was greeted with smiles and handshakes from my MXODUS brothers and sisters who I am truly grateful to Allah for. After meeting with my brothers and sisters, I knew in the back of my mind that something profound was going to take place. I even mentioned to my brother that I felt thatone of the ways that the Honorable Elijah Muhammad was going to make his presence known was through nature by way of “The Thunder.” Because what better way to get someone to take notice and reflect on who is in charge than by using the forces of nature. To my surprise I was right when we arrived at the hotel in Piedra de Lacuesta, near Acapulco, Mexico. I kept hearing the sound of thunder but I did not see any rain clouds around to prove that it was thunder. However, when I got up the next morning, me and a brother went to the Ocean and lo and behold it was the ocean waves crashing down on one another that was making this great sound. But as the day went by, I happened to notice that the sky was getting very dark and I just knew that this was it. We were really going to get to see some power being displayed. Lo and behold we had lightning and Thunder. I remember tellingmybrother “remember what I told you”.

As the days went on and we were meeting with our Indigenous family who in Costa Chica thought that we were natives, I noticed that there was something missing here and that was the Teachings of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad. It was very clear that our Black brothers and sisters in Mexico wanted to know more about whom they are as a people and not just from what they have been told by others. They know that we are a great people because history tells us so. The Original man writes history 25,000 years in advance. Our Lessons give us this insight. So no matter where you go on the earth, you can always take these Teachings of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and teach the masses of our people. “Black is not national, it's Universal”—quoted from the Honorable Elijah Muhammad. Since our people are all over the world, we must take the Teachings all over the world just like the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan have already done so that we can have friendships in all walk of life.

First we have to start with our local regions and then the masses. I believe that there was no coincidence that this journey was during the last ten days of Ramadan. I believe that we are now in a phase where there will be more Divinely ordered phenomena happening so we should not be surprised when they happen. I truly believe that we were on anExpedition into the Mind of God that is still going on even thoughwe are not in Mexico. We should be looking for a lot of great things coming out of Mexico. I want to thank Almighty God, Allah, for blessing us with a safe journey. I also want to thank the Living Christ, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, for displaying his Power while we were in Mexico. I have to give thanks to Mother Tynnetta Muhammad for her continued love for us all and for helping me to understand more the purpose that Mexico has with the Nation of Islam, thank you! During our expedition while on the bus, Bro. Jamal dreamed of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, who had returned and his photo was on the cover of both Jet and Ebony magazine. He was sitting as one in Authority as the Judge over our actions in his absence. He was particularly reviewing the brothers of the F.O.I. and asked the question: “What have you done since I've been gone!” Truly, this brief summary of his experience carries with it a profound message for us all as we are being examined by Almighty God, Allah!

Say: it is only revealed to me that your God is one God: will you then submit? But if they turn back, say: I have warned you in fairness, and I know not whether that which you are promised is near or far. –Holy Qur'an, Surah 21, verses 108-109
