Minister Farrakhan responds to controversy over reports of Qur’anic
desecration at Guantanamo Bay detention facility
CHICAGO (NOI.org) - The Honorable
Minister Louis Farrakhan, leader of the Nation of Islam in America
held a press conference May 25, 2005 from Mosque Maryam in
Chicago, IL. He addressed the question of Islam being a
"religion of violence" and furor that erupted after a May 9
Newsweek article reported Qur'anic desecration at the U.S.
Guantanamo Bay detention facility in Cuba.
