The Supreme Wisdom From THE SUPREME BEING

The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan is such a “spiritual genius” whom God has made for the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and for us. The vision that he was granted, among other things, testifies to the fact that God made him with powers that tower much above the average person. Yet in many respects he is like any other brother.

However, in certain specific respects, he has been made very, very special. He is the one to whom the Honorable Elijah Muhammad said that he was more valuable, to him, than all the wealth that is in the earth; for through the Minister he would get all of his people.

These words came from a man whose grasp of the scale of values is consummate; exquisite; even transcendent! He did not use words to express his mind in a casual manner.

To illustrate the seriousness of what is being stated here, consider this. In 1957 the Honorable Elijah Muhammad published a little magazine. Its title was “The Supreme Wisdom.” It was composed of parts of some of his articles, which then appeared in the Pittsburgh Courier newspaper.

There are many people we can learn of (both back in time and in the present) who presented themselves as if they were the next being to the Supreme Source of all wisdom, goodness, power—in short, of all of the very best qualities and values.

There is no question about the fact that the Honorable Elijah Muhammad presented himself as the next being to God Himself. He did so with tact, yet with clarity. He did this with power, yet with humility.

He made clear, but hardly often, that he was the object of the most important of all of the teachings in the scriptures. When you think over what the scriptures are, this is indeed a very, let us say, very big statement. When you look into exactly what he taught and what his experiences were with his Teacher; when you examine the effect of his being, words and acts on others; when you look into the reactions of certain government officials, learned men and women from within America and from abroad, to him, it becomes obvious that here was a very unusual person. Here was an extraordinarily important man, in whose person resided qualities of the very highest order. Here was a man the like of which, he calmly and humbly stated of himself, one day, had never been and his like would never be again.

In the foreword of this little magazine he wrote the following words: “In The Name of Allah, The Beneficent, the Merciful.

FOREWORD

“You perhaps wonder why we call this little book The Supreme Wisdom. It is because most every word used in it is from the Lord of the worlds, “THE SUPREME BEING,” especially where you read of the History of the Caucasian Race; the History of the Black Nation and Prophets; the Doom of America— how she will be destroyed; the Hereafter; the Future of the so-called Negroes—“Tribe of Shabazz,” what happened 66 trillion years ago, 50,000 years ago and 6,000 years ago. All of the answers are directly from the mouth of Allah (God) in the Person of Master W. F. Muhammad, to Whom all praise is due, the Great Mahdi or Messiah as the Christians say, and He is also the Son of Man.

“He alone has taught me and continues to reveal His truth to me, although to some it is unbelievable; but search your Scriptures and you will find that they verify that which you read in this book—that which Allah (God) has revealed to me. If the so-called Negroes will accept it, they will be successful and see the Hereafter. If not, they will be destroyed along with those who are destroyed.

“Say: He, Allah is One God (not three), there is no God but He and I am His Messenger and servant.”

Now, his words show that he was and is one of these three: crazy, self-deluded, with a bloated sense of his own importance; a deceiver of the first rank, with a callous, cold heartless disregard for others, who took advantage of his people; or he was and is exactly what and who he represented himself to be.

If we are inclined to see, or feel that we know him (the Honorable Elijah Muhammad) to be either in the first two categories, then we will see the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan one way. If, on the other hand, we are either inclined, to see, or know him to be the latter, the third of the three categories, then, we will see the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan another way.

The point, here, is that it is one thing to see, hear and interact with Minister Farrakhan without a grasp of what and who is really behind him. It is one thing to know him without really delving into the source of his perspective, his point of view, and the wonderful qualities he has as a man, a leader and teacher of humanity. It is quite another matter to see, hear, interact with him along with some degree of the knowledge and understanding of the very source of what makes him the man he is and the guiding forces in his life.

Now, up to this point, in these articles we have looked at something of Who made the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan the very special and valuable man he is and something of the very special and valuable principles and methods that were used in his production. Because this is really outside the original scope of this work, such material has only been covered superficially. But, hopefully, it has been made clear that fundamental to his standing before us today, as the premier Black leader—if not the leader period—was his teacher’s knowledge and insights into the scriptures. He saw his student’s (Minister Farrakhan) exact place in the divine scheme or plan of things, events, the conditions of these times—foretold in the scriptures. He saw into the core of the being of his Minister. He knew him through and through. Moreover, he heard with joy the words of Master Fard Muhammad about this special helper. He foresaw exactly how he could, and would, utilize his great Minister; for he knew the purpose in God for his Minister’s birth and life.

You must know a great deal about a man to tell him to his face, “I want your mind” and that he wanted his Minister to line his mind—his entire being up with his. (This request and the fact of it is mentioned in both the Bible and the Holy Qur’an. I intend to go further into this in a larger book I’m working on, Allah willing.)

Out of his tremendous range of knowledge, he spoke to and interacted with the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan to bring out, to grow in him, the wondrous talents, skills—in short, all those overall qualities, which friend and foe alike admire in him.

Out of his insights, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad said to Minister Farrakhan’s face, that he was more valuable to him than then “all of the wealth that is in the earth. ...”

This also says something of the value he placed on those at whom he aimed at “getting” through Minister Farrakhan.

So, what is his—the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan’s—value to you? In a great measure our response depends on our grasp of the “Unseen.”
