CHICAGO—Come to a three-day grand opening event for The Black Mall store and support Black-owned business! Located at 533 E. 79th St. in the Chatham neighborhood, The Black Mall was co-founded by Cassiopeia Uhuru and Dre Meekins, seven years ago but recently moved to a larger space to accommodate its growing popularity.

The grand opening will highlight three days of sales, featured vendors, food and drink, performances and much more! Highlights will include a celebration Nov. 1 and a ribbon cutting ceremony on Nov. 3. Hours each day for the grand opening are 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. which are also The Black Mall’s regular business hours (Mon. – Sat. 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.). Join us to learn more about what our store has to offer and how we are influencing the economic stability of the Black community!
