in Lockerbie
bombing trial
WOODRIDGE, Ill.--As the nation
grapples with increasing evidence of racial profiling in traffic stops,
banking and housing patterns, yet another suburban community faces a
lawsuit after authorities stormed a Muslim-owned telecommunications
business in what could prove to be a case of enterprising while
Black in this southwest Chicago suburb.

Continuing Million Man
March pledge
As the Million Family March is
designed to unite the Black family, it can also serve as a status report
for the pledge given during the Million Man March (MMM).
One of the things proposed during the MMM is for brothers and their
families to adopt a prisoner for the purpose of keeping that person on the
inside in touch with the struggles on the outside.
The spirit of love is felt on a small scale between brothers in prison but
the common attitude is that most Black people and organizations have
written us off as worthless, which makes it difficult for many to come out
with the spirit of love and commitment to the struggle of our people.
Think of how Malcolm X came out of prison with a strong determination and dedication
to help our people from the the guidance he received from the Hon. Elijah
Muhammad. So with the call from the Hon. Minister Louis Farrakhan to unite
the family, let us reach into the prisons and pull our giants up, so that
we can come out and show the world that Allah (God) has favored us to get
up and lead the world out of the grips of Satan.

Farrakhan
responds to media attacks
Exclusive Final Call Interview (Text
and Streaming Audio)
"It appears that the aim of 60 Minutes, CBS and Mike
Wallace was to make the American public believe that I, Louis
Farrakhan, ordered the assassination of Malcolm X. It in no way
reflected the spirit of Miss Shabazz and myself and our attempt to
continue the path of reconciliation started by Dr. Betty Shabazz and
me in 1994 and 1995."
