Cops
and protesters clash in NY
BROOKLYNThe aftermath of
the March 25 funeral for Black police shooting victim Patrick Dorismond
apparently has left another victim of police brutality at the door of the
New York City Police Dept. Errol Maitland, 49, a Black radio producer and
announcer for New Yorks WBAI-FM radio, was severely beaten and
hospitalized with numbness of the right arm, bruises and lacerations to
the back, a cut above one eyebrow, chest pains and, according to doctors,
evidence of ischemia, an injury to the heart.

Peace:
The Fruit of Justice
by Minister Louis Farrakhan
America is suffering from what
President Clinton calls the great racial divide. The race problem has
been with America since her inception. It is a problem that can be
solved, but it can only be solved with real justice. The fruit of
justice is peace. But justice is a principle of fair dealing. It is
one of the greatest principles that our universe is constructed on.
When we fail to do justice, we literally set up conditions that
destroy peace.
