Farrakhan and Imam Mohammed embrace at Saviours' Day 2000CHICAGO�Twenty-five
years after the departure of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad, and a
separation in the family of the Nation of Islam, the Honorable Minister
Louis Farrakhan and Imam W. Deen Mohammed stood together Feb. 27 in a
sold-out United Center, declaring their unity, speaking of the universal
nature of Islam, the need for changing lives abroad and the need to
transform lives at home.

Day 2000 weekend brings many joyous surprises
CHICAGO�A new day
in Islamic history dawned over America Feb. 27.
The nation�s principal Muslim leaders�Minister Louis Farrakhan of the
Nation of Islam and Imam W. Deen Mohammed of the Muslim American
Society�embraced before a total capacity crowd at the Nation of Islam
Saviours� Day observance, then pledged to spread the word about the universal
appeal of their faith throughout the United States and beyond.

Zionism, not Farrakhan is the
problem, rabbis say
CHICAGO�Sixteen years ago in defense of
Rev. Jesse Jackson, the sum of the relationship between Minister Louis
Farrakhan and some members of the Jewish community equaled a grave
misunderstanding that those Jews have wielded from then until now like a
weapon to multiply a negative press campaign against the Minister. All that
ended Feb. 24-27 when rabbis of the Neturei Karta Orthodox Jewish community
divided themselves from that effort.
