(UNITED NATIONS) - Gambia's President Hadji Yahya A.J.J. Jammeh addressed the 2009 United Nations General Assembly on September 24, 2009. He expressed the relevancy of global collaboration but condemned the exploitation of Africa's natural resources by multinational corporations. He stated that the UN must come to the rescue of Africa otherwise we Africans stand ready to liberate ourselves from eternal bondage at any cost.
