Ermias Joseph Asghedom was more than the hip hop artist and entrepreneur known as Nipsey Hussle. He was much more. He was a family man; a father, a son, a brother, and a grandson. Nipsey and his longtime girlfriend and companion actress Lauren London are parents to a young son named Kross. He also has a daughter, Emani from a previous relationship who accompanied her father to the Grammy Awards earlier this year. Nipsey's mother Angelique Smith is a Black woman from America and his father Dawit Asghedom is a Black African from Eritrea. “I would like for him to be remembered as a humble, spirited, respectful man who had, since his childhood, had an extraordinary and unlimited intellectual capacity,” his mother told the Los Angeles Times.
