CHICAGO— During a mild, beautiful afternoon, Believers from Mosque Maryam, national headquarters of the Nation of Islam, and their families came to Jackson Park to celebrate Eid-al-Fitr, a celebration of the end of Ramadan, a holy month of fasting and prayer. The annual Family Fun Day, held June 16, included games and activities for children and adults, delicious food prepared by staff of the MGT and GCC, a variety of music, board games and sports and much more. The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan and family also attended to share brotherhood and sisterhood that was the highlight of the day.
