Shahid “The Math Doctor” Muhammad, a long-time educator, community activist and student minister in the Nation of Islam in conjunction with 10,000 Fearless Squash the Beef is taking “Saving Our Boys” which is the fourth annual Boys To Men Conference on the road. This year’s event takes place in Bessemer, Alabama. 

“We must save and elevate our young, Black males and this power packed conference and manhood training seminar will help in that effort,” Student Min. Shahid has stated in explaining the purpose of the gathering.

The Boys to Men Conference will feature special motivational and inspirational sessions, training seminars and speakers that will focus on preparing young Black males for manhood and to be positive forces of change and elevation for their communities and the world.

Participants will engage in motivation and inspirational workshops and activities like financial literacy, self-defense, entrepreneurial training and much more!

Educators, parents, and community leaders are invited and encouraged to bring their male students and children ages 10 to 18. This year’s conference is Sunday, May 27 from 2:00 p.m.—6:00 p.m. at Watermark Place Events Conference and Business Center, 4500 Katie’s Way, Bessemer, Alabama 35022.

Previous Boys to Men Conferences convened in Chicago where young men gathered for a day of learning practical skills that can serve as useful tools in life such as financial literacy, entrepreneurship and fi rst aid. Men from the community served as mentors and instructors.
