#Defending Farrakhan - A Nation Can Rise No Higher Than Its Women

MIAMI—The Muslim Girls Training and General Civilization Class (MGT and GCC) are the women and girls of the Nation of Islam under the guidance of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and leadership of Minister Louis Farrakhan. The Vanguard are young women in the Nation of Islam ages 16-35.

On Nov. 24, the Mighty MGT Vanguard of Muhammad Mosque No. 29 in Miami went out in the community spending time giving out Final Call Newspapers and distributing food and clothes to residents. The sisters spent an afternoon in Overtown, a predominantly Black neighborhood in Miami which serves as Seventh Regional Headquarters of the Nation of Islam. The sisters prepared navy bean soup, whole wheat bread, water, and fruit to give out to the homeless and those less fortunate. They also invited people out to the mosque for the meeting the following day.

The sisters prepared food, bottles of water and invited residents to the Mosque meeting.

The community was very happy to see the Muslim women.
