Judgment approaches with the Sounding of the Trumpet of the 7th Angel

“And how many a town which was iniquitous did We demolish, and We raised up after it another people! So when they felt Our might, lo! they began to flee from it. Flee not and return to the easy lives which you led, and to your dwellings, that you may be questioned.”-Holy Qur’an, Surah 21, verses 11-13

As we approach the 10th Anniversary of the Million Man March™, we are exactly 30 years since the departure of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, and corresponding with the history of Prophet Muhammad (May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), counting time from 1995, we have reached the fullness of the Madinah period (10 years). Last year, as we celebrated the 9th Anniversary of the Million Man March™ in the month of October, it was announced that at the end of the year in 2005, we would be working on the gathering of 10 million strong.

According to the 9th Surah of the Holy Qur’an, the first 13 verses were read to the tribes that had gathered during the 9th or 10th day of Dhu-l-Hijah during the Pilgrimage to Mecca. These 13 verses, read by Ali, the Prophet’s son-in-law, gave an ultimatum to the hypocrites that, if they continued to disobey the Prophet’s orders and consistently broke their treaty agreements, that Allah would bring upon them Divine chastisement. They were given a four-month period to reconcile their differences and obey the Prophet’s instructions. This 9th Surah corresponded to the 9th year of the Madinah period. From last year’s celebration of the 9th Anniversary of the Million Man March™, to the February 26, 2005 Saviours’ Day celebration, we count exactly four months. This is the only Surah in the Holy Qur’an that omits the opening Bismillah statement, because the subject matter is on the hypocrites.

The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan gave us an extended period of preparedness (70 years) for this day and time, counting from the departure of Master Fard Muhammad in 1934 and the fleeing of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad from the hypocrites one year later in 1935.

As I pointed out in the last article, the 7th Angel stood up sounding the 7th trumpet, and the time that we would have, we would know no more. There were various other important descriptions given to the work of the 7th Angel. Among them was that he put one foot on water and one foot on land and he lifted his finger to heaven and cried with a loud voice as a roar of a lion.

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad explained to us that this Angel has the power to cut a shortage in the atoms of the atmosphere, that would bring down a wall of fire from the heavens above. He also told us that the foot on land and the foot on sea represented the drying up of the waters and the produce of the land, so that we would be unable to eat food from either—it would be contaminated. As we look at our food source today, we will all bear witness that the food supply from the land and the sea is contaminated.

Near the end of the work of the 7th Angel, he holds a book in his hand and he gives the book to one who is called and chosen to take it and “eat it up”; it was sweet as honey in the mouth, but became bitter in the stomach. This chosen one was to prophecy again before many peoples and nations and tongues and kings.

Prior to my departure from Chicago, I questioned Bro. Jabril Muhammad on his understanding of the 7th Angel. I had been thinking that this Angel represented the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad in the fullness of his power granted to him from Almighty God Allah. Bro. Jabril confirmed my understanding by stating that, upon one occasion, the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad referred to himself to the work of that mighty, powerful Angel. Allah has given to him power to execute judgment on America and the world.

Upon the departure of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad in 1975, he stated that his real mission had not yet begun and that he was going away to be with Master Fard Muhammad for a certain period of time, and that the two of them would be seen together at the end of the time that we have known, making 15-minute whistle-stop tours on a fast-moving train to the cities throughout America. Certainly, there is no actual train that can move that fast on the ground; perhaps this may have a reference to his being seen in the Great Wheel in the Sky.

I spoke this past Sunday in Miami, Fla., with my son Rasul and as I was sharing the rostrum, it appeared to me why I had to speak on the 7th Angel at this past Saviours’ Day event. It is due to the fact that we have a limited period of time between now and the 10th Anniversary of the Million Man March™, which brings to a closure a certain period in the history of the Nation of Islam that corresponds to the history of Prophet Muhammad and the fulfillment of the revelation of the Holy Qur’an. We are soon to receive new spiritual guidance for a new world coming in as the old world goes out.

“They said: O woe to us! Surely we were unjust. And this cry of theirs ceased not till We made them cut off, extinct. And We created not the heaven and the earth and what is between them for sport.”-Holy Qur’an, Surah 21, verses 14-16
