(The narrative here, following last week’s quote from Surah 27, verses 15-17, is that of Solomon’s arrival with his hosts of the jinn and the men and the birds, to a certain Valley of the Naml, to which this chapter derives it name.)

"Until when they came to the valley of the Naml, a Namlite said: O Naml, enter your houses, (lest) Solomon and his hosts crush you, while they know not. So he smiled, wondering at her word, and said: My Lord, grant me that I may be grateful for Thy favour which Thou hast bestowed on me and on my parents, and that I may do good such as Thou art pleased with, and admit me, by Thy mercy, among Thy righteous servants." —Holy Qur’an, Surah 27, verses 18-19

At first sight, in the reading of this amazing narrative and revelation within the context of the Holy Qur’an’s chapters on King Solomon, I am reminded in part of the Book volumes of J.R.R. Tolkien, "The Lord of the Rings," in which the Hobbits represent, along with the Dwarfs, the smallest of creatures, though cleverly endowed with great intelligence.

This particular Valley of Naml mentioned in the Holy Qur’an is defined as the "Valley of the Ants." Ants, as we may know, are particularly skilled in their division and organization into units of labor and colonies to achieve their objectives of work and survival.

It is not strange to discover that the root of many great English literary works can be traced to the Divine Scriptures, which includes the Revelation of the Holy Qur’an. Now, after coming upon these people, Solomon reviews the birds and finds that Hudhud is one of the absentees.

The ultimate tracing of the meaning of this name also takes us to the Bible and ancient genealogies, which gives us this name as a king of Himyar, (ancient Arabia); with a change in vowel, it becomes Hudahad, the father of Balqis, the Queen of Sheba, and finally Hadad, the name of a tribe in Yaman, or present-day Yemen.

This missing figure, Hudhud, suddenly appears before Solomon with information from Saba and a woman who is ruling over them who worship the sun instead of Allah. It is then that Solomon addresses a letter to them to be delivered directly to the Queen of Sheba.

Surprisingly, this letter from Solomon appears in the 30th verse, 19 surahs following its omission in Surah 9. Surah 27, verse 30 reads: "It is from Solomon, and it is in the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful: (verse 31) Proclaiming, Exalt not yourselves against me and come to me in submission."

It is interesting to note that if we prefix the number 19 to verse 30, we get the date 1930, the exact time when Master Wallace Fard Muhammad presented himself to the public for the first time and proclaimed that he had found the Lost Found Nation of his Father’s House in America worshipping the symbols and images of a false religion. We were also identified by him as the Tribe of Shabazz.

When you look deeply into the word, "Shabazz," one can recognize the word, "Saba," which is another name for Sheba, along with the word, "Shah" meaning "ruler" and the name "bazz" meaning "a type of bird in flight."

In the masonic version of this story, we will note that Solomon sent out messengers, types of birds, with instructions to find his lost people under the name Saba, Sheba or Shabazz. But it took King Solomon, himself, to find her or (them), and bring them into submission to God through his Person.

In returning to the theme of the Masonic Shrine or Temple Structure that was erected in the memory of the Grand Master of the Lodge in Virginia and who served as the first President of The United States, George Washington, there are historical similarities to be drawn from its construction site and that of the Temple of Solomon in Jerusalem. Some of the quarry stones were taken from Jerusalem to be installed at the Grand Masonic site for the Washington Memorial in Arlington, Virginia.

Finally, according to the Holy Qur’an, when Solomon had proven himself to be guided by God with wisdom and knowledge, she and her people turned back from the worshipping of idols.

"... She said: My Lord, surely I have wronged myself, and I submit with Solomon to Allah, the Lord of the worlds." —Holy Qur’an, Surah 27, verse 44

This number 44 with a zero added converts into the harmonics of A-Tone 440.

To be continued.
