CHICAGO (FinalCall.com) - Around the country members of the
Nation of Islam and the Black community are getting ready for
Saviours’ Day, the Crowning Event of Black History Month. The
Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan has been preparing a historic
message, “He Came That We May Have Life,” to be delivered on
February 27th at Christ Universal Temple in Chicago,
Illinois. His message will be viewed live via satellite in over
120 cities throughout this country as well as in London, UK.
During the past couple of months, he has been meeting with
various leaders and organizations to help further plan the
mobilization of our people throughout the year working towards
the advancement and upliftment of our communities. Saviours’ Day
is the annual commemoration of the birth, February 26, 1877, of
Master Fard Muhammad, the Founder of the Nation of Islam.
National Spokesman Minister Jamil Muhammad travels around the
country bringing the good news about Saviours’ Day to mosques
and study groups.
“Around the country people realize the need for Minister
Farrakhan like never before. Black America is in a state of
shock after receiving another confirmation that they can not
depend on a benevolent white man to do for them what they can do
for themselves,” said Minister Jamil Muhammad.
On February 26th, as a prelude to his Saviours’
Day address, The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan will
participate in a Symposium hosted by Tavis Smiley, entitled “The
