Did God make devil and why?

CHICAGO - The question of the origin of the devil and his reality has been a major question that religious scholars and theologians have asked. And if God is all-powerful and the creator of everything, why did God make the devil?

The making of the devil was intentional and is part of the onward movement of human beings to perfection, said the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. And, he explained there is a part of God in the human being and also a part of devil in the human being.

“Since the devil was given life by God and had a divine purpose for his existence, then the ultimate good of God would be manifested in his reason for making a devil,” Min. Farrakhan explained July 13, in the 27th installment of his lecture series, “The Time and What Must Be Done, which airs at 6 p.m. CST at http://www.noi.org/thetime/. “The greatest experiments of all are the experiments that we have engaged in to advance our knowledge of God and our knowledge of self. But the greatest of these experiments have been done with the self, because it is only when the self, which is of God—and is God—is perfected, that he can then bring in a perfect universe,” Min. Farrakhan said.

However the full manifestation of God exposes defects in the human being which need to be perfected, he continued. “When we are fully exposed, and our defects are fully manifested, the human being can then be perfected. Then, when we make a perfect human being, we can perfect the universe that Almighty God created and set into motion to evolve toward perfection.”

The rebellious part of human nature, which has troubled the original people of the planet, is fully manifested in Caucasian who were divinely ordained to rule for 6,000 years, Min. Farrakhan continued. The Caucasian people are the rebellious devils and deceivers talked about in scripture. The devil is not a mythical character or a formless spirit but a kind of man who commits evil and murder with impunity, according to the teachings of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad, patriarch of the Nation of Islam. The rule of Caucasians has been a contrary rule, filled with bloodshed, extreme violence, destruction of the original people and no peace among Caucasian people themselves.

Author Michael Bradley, in his book titled The Iceman Inheritance: Prehistoric Sources of Western Man’s Racism, Sexism And Aggression, questions this propensity for “aggressive and destructive acts.” Mr. Bradley, who is Caucasian, tries to make sense of “apparently senseless behaviour” and argues that “the White race possesses an atypical level of aggression.”

In the book’s forward, noted Black historian John Henrik Clark, writes, “When Europeans got together and created the semblance of what could be referred to as a state or a nation they soon made a glaring discovery—Europe could not furnish them with enough food to properly feed them or enough material to properly clothe them. They began to look with covetous eyes at the more developed parts of the world.” That covetous nature has led to ever-present desires for expansion and domination.

“We can attribute various threats to our survival to ‘Man’s’ folly … but this is a conscious and self-protecting euphemism,” writes Mr. Bradley. “Nuclear war, environmental pollution, resource rape … all are primary threats to our survival and are all the result of peculiarly Caucasoid behaviour, Caucasoid values, Caucasoid psychology. There is no way to avoid the truth. The problem of the world is White men. … Our racial psychology has brought the world to the brink of disaster.”
