Farrakhan: 'The time for Satan to rule is over'

Historic 52-week lecture series premieres to a worldwide audience

CHICAGO (FinalCall.com) - The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan delivered the first message of his highly anticipated 52-week lecture series titled: “The Time and What Must Be Done,” from the historic Final Call Administration Building located on Chicago’s Southside.
The title was given to him by the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad, patriarch of the Nation of Islam, who himself delivered a monumental lecture series titled “The Theology of Time” over a period of five months in 1972.
In the hour-long message, the Minister said everyone living is now “in the valley of decision” and are being separated into groups of those who desire to abide by the will of God, and those who desire to continue to operate under the rule of Satan. Everyone viewing this series of messages, the Minister said, has something to do “in order to escape the consequences of the time.”
Although Chapter 103 of the Holy Qur’an—the book of scripture for Muslims—serves as the scriptural basis for this yearlong subject, the Minister used many biblical references to show the relationship between the prophetic utterances, and events of today. Through the lens of the teachings of the Hon. Elijah Muhammad, and with extraordinary range and depth, the Minister made today’s choice clear.
“In this Qur’anic chapter, time is a yardstick of measurement of consequence,” said Min. Farrakhan. “The time will determine whether we lose or whether we win, whether we live or whether we die. Whether we suffer privation or whether we grow in prosperity, it all depends on what we do with the knowledge of the time.”
The Minister not only discussed the importance and critical nature of the time in which we live, he also talked about “the intervals of time,” and events leading up to the conditions present in the United States of America and the world.
He detailed the history of the Adamic or White race, who were given the power to rule over that which they came from. Their rule and time to dominate everyone and everything would last for 6,000 years.
“But they could not dominate until God raised a prophet for them, and that prophet was a man named Moses or Musa,” he said. “Musa came to them, but they were in a horrific condition, on their all fours in the hills and cave sides of Europe.”
“Europe was a place that was wild, uncultivated, and savage,” he added.
He also explained the history of the great Black scientist named Yakub, the father of the White race, who studied the life-germ of the Black man and through a system of birth control and grafting developed the White race. It is not a myth, he said.
“He was not an evil scientist, he was a magnificent scientist,” said the Minister. “The reality is the Caucasians are a reality on our planet. They are not natural or native to any part of our Earth. But they had a great work to do, believe it or not, even though it was a work in rebellion to the natural and divine laws of God, yet, God permitted it.”
God would choose a people who had been destroyed mentally, morally and spiritually by those who would rule in a manner contrary to His will so that he could manifest Himself fully. The time of Satan’s rule is over, and the Black man and woman of America and the Western Hemisphere are the fulfillment of the prophecy of the people chosen to receive divine intervention into their affairs and a visitation from God, said the Minister.
“The scriptures say, God’s coming is after the working of Satan, so this mind that was present from Genesis to Revelation is a Satanic mind,” he said. “When Jesus came, he came into a world of total darkness and rebellion to the word, will, and way of God.”
The Great Mahdi, Master Fard Muhammad, is present, the Messiah and Exalted Christ, the Hon. Elijah Muhammad has ascended to power at God’s right hand, and the Minister, is their representative and divinely chosen instrument to herald their presence.
Jesus was 2,000 years too soon to bring about an end of the civilization of wickedness, and ultimately gave up his life for the truth he taught when he realized he could not establish the kingdom of God, said the Minister.
“But Jesus talked about one coming after him,” said Min. Farrakhan. “He said one would come, but would come in his name. He would verify the truth that Jesus taught, but that one that would come after the working of Satan would come to end the world of Satan and end the dominion and power of the rule of those who follow Satan.”
The Theology of Time
Like now, there was a lot of activity going on within the Nation of Islam in 1972 when the Hon. Elijah Muhammad delivered the Theology of Time lecture series:
• In 1972 per the Hon. Elijah Muhammad’s request, Min. Farrakhan organized two plane loads of intellectuals and leaders to come to Chicago to meet with Mr. Muhammad.
• During the Theology of Time lecture series, something else major in the history of the Nation of Islam occurred. This pivotal moment is recounted in an article by author and theologian Jabril Muhammad, titled “A Guided Servant of Allah and His Messenger.” He writes:
“In the Mosque on Stony Island Avenue, in Chicago, Illinois, July 30, 1972, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad said, at one point, before around 3,000 people:
“I want you to remember today, I have one of my greatest teachers here ...” (at this point he turned his head towards Minister Farrakhan, who was sitting, in the last row, in the section where the ministers were seated to his right.) “... what are you hiding behind the sycamore tree for, Brother? Come on out here so they can hear you. We have with us today our great national preacher, the preacher who don’t mind going into Harlem, New York, one of the most worst towns in our nation or cities.
“It is our brother, in Detroit or Chicago or New York. But I want you to remember, every week he is on the air, helping me to reach my people that I can’t get out of my house to reach like he. I want you to pay good attention to his preaching. His preaching is a bearing of witness to me and what God has revealed to me.
“This is one of the strongest national preachers I have in the bounds of North America. Everywhere you hear him, listen to him. Everywhere you see him, look at him. Everywhere he advises you to go, go. Everywhere he advise you to stay from, stay from. So we are thankful to Allah for this great helper of mine, Minister Farrakhan.”
The Honorable Elijah Muhammad often said and did certain things with the future in his mind. As a result, at times his words and acts were, therefore, misunderstood. This type of misunderstanding is not the fault of such men of God. It is, most often the fault of the listeners. On a higher level (in many cases, though not all) it is not really the fault of the listeners either, as these kinds of words are meant to be understood in the future. The above words could not be understood in 1972 as they can now be understood. This fact holds true, generally, for the whole body of information he left in 1975,” Jabril Muhammad wrote.
Obey God and Live
The nature of the Original Man is to live in Obedience to God, while today’s rulers act in direct opposition to God’s Will. Reminding the viewers and listeners of the four beasts written of in the Book of Revelation, The Minister declared that the ruling nations have become like beasts. A beast preys upon weak things, devours the weak to live, and has no moral consciousness. So too have these four great beasts devoured human beings on our planet, and devoured the land and resources of the darker people of the Earth. America, a nation founded in violence, is now, filled with inhabitants who are experiencing violence at every turn.
“You will be required to make a decision. Shall I obey man; shall I follow the rebellious way we have been taught or should I follow the guidance of a divine messenger that he gave us for this time?” the Minister asked. “The greatest of consequences are when we are given a direct order by God himself, and we choose to disobey.”
