During his interview, Mr. Bashir questioned Minister Farrakhan on a variety of topics including America's foreign policy, race relations, controversial Iranian President Ahmadinejad and his recovery from an intense 14-hour surgery.
In a prescient moment during the interview, the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan chided Mr. Bashir on the methods used by the media to mislead the public, noting that in this almost two-hour interview, only portions would actually be viewed by the public after selective editing.
“I’m giving you a lot of material, what will you use? What will you present to the American people of Farrakhan? Not you personally, because you are subjected to editors. You are subjected to people who have another view. You’re here to get information, but what they do with it, that’s another thing.”
