“And when He had opened the ‘Fourth Seal’, I heard the voice of the ‘Fourth Beast’ say Come. And I looked and behold a PALE HORSE; and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell (Hades) followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with the sword, and with Hunger and with Death, and with the Beasts of the Earth.” -Revelations 6:7-8

“A million Arabs are not worth one Jewish fingernail,” declared Rabbi Yaacov Perin Feb. 27, 1994, as he eulogized New York-born doctor Baruch Goldstein, who sneaked into a Hebron mosque in Jerusalem during Jummah (Friday Prayers) on Feb. 25 and murdered 29 Muslim men, women and children who were praying.

What is really at the root of the Israeli attacks in the West Bank and now southern Lebanon? What is at the root of the terrorism of a militarily superior country, backed by the number one military power on earth, and then cries victim when retaliation comes against their aggression?

In at least nine UN resolutions between 1969 and 2000, Israel was called to recognize and abide by the Fourth Geneva Convention with respect to the treatment of the Arabs in the occupied territories of the Palestinians.

In 1968, Israel was called upon, under UN Resolution 262, to pay compensation to Lebanon for the destruction of airliners at Beirut International Airport, according to Stephen Zunes’ Foreign Policy in Focus (October 3, 2002). In bold defiance and disregard for any UN resolution, Israel now has begun a more ruthless bombing in Lebanon again under the pretext of two Israeli soldiers who were captured on the Lebanese side of the border while Isreal holds hundreds of Palestinians in prisons and thousands under siege.

UN Resolution 471 (1980) demanded prosecution of those involved in assassination attempts of West Bank leaders and compensation for damages, and again “reiterates demands to abide by the Fourth Geneva Convention.” This is the same action, and worse, that recently occurred in the West Bank with Palestinians electing officials of Hamas as their choice of leadership.

In 1981, reports Mr. Zune, Resolution 497 called upon “Israel to place its nuclear facilities under the safeguard” of the same International Atomic Energy Agency which Mr. Bush is using to pressure Iran to comply with beyond the point of necessity, when Iran does not have any nuclear weapons.

Israel had already violated almost 70 UN resolutions by 2002.

What is the mindset of a people that continually aggress upon another people, but then plays the role of victim, as they murder, maim and destroy homes and the human services infrastructure of the true victim? This happens while manipulating its giant ally—which it milks from sucking its ally economically and spiritually dry of hundreds of billions of dollars over a protracted number of years, while over 42 million people go without medical care or insurance in the society of its ally?

“I want to tell you something very clear, don’t worry about American pressure on Israel, we, the Jewish people control America, and the Americans know it,” assured Ariel Sharon to Shimon Peres October 3, 2001, according to a report on Kol Yisrael radio.

More importantly, especially to Blacks, Latinos, Native Americans and poor Whites, is what is the prospect and effect of this deadly mentality on the future, welfare, condition and security of these peoples when they have been labeled undesirable and characterized as expendable?

“The nation of Israel is pure and the Arabs are a nation of donkeys. They are an evil disaster, an evil devil and a nasty affliction. The Arabs are donkeys and beasts. They want to take our girls. They are endowed with true filthiness. There is pure and there is impure and they are impure,” stated Rabbi David Batzri, head of the Magen David Yeshiva in Jerusalem, according to the Israeli newspaper Haaretz on March 21.

This religious leader was responding to a Jan. 9 rally against the building of a mixed Jewish/Arab school teaching tolerance in a southwest Jerusalem neighborhood.

The “establishment of such a school is an act of abomination and impurity,” Rabbi Batzri was quoted as saying. “You cannot mix pure with impure. Of course, we have to keep apart from all the other nations. You must stand in the breach and prevent this. One cannot mix light with darkness. The People of Israel are pure.”

“They are inferior,” said his son, Rabbi Yitzhak Batzri, echoing his father’s mindset. “They say we are racists. The truth is that they are the evil ones. They are bestowed with the filth of the snake.”

Is this the prevailing idea of the leadership of Israel and America: That Arabs and others who are not Jews must be classified as goyim, or the “useless eaters,” who should be, and are being, used to go into Iraq to maintain the position of oil barons and the dollar as the only currency of oil exchange?

Are these the “useless eaters” that can risk their lives to gain American citizenship—but if they are killed, that citizenship is not transferable to any other member of the family?

Are these the “useless eaters” who many times come from the ghettos of America, having no jobs, but do have the option of prison, crime or a perpetual corner to hang out on?

Are these the “useless eaters” to be used to secure Israel in the Middle East or to defeat whatever country or people that will not bow to her “purity?”

Are these “useless eaters” the Christians and Muslims of Lebanon?

According to recent news reports , the Israelis have already killed more than 400 civilians, displaced a million Lebanese, bombed bridges and roads, making it difficult for the transportation of food and aid supplies. Targets have included a food factory, two pharmaceutical plants, water treatment centers, power plants, hospitals and grain silos.

While Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice went on, what turned out to be, a “psyche mission” to learn what Lebanon wants—so that Israel would know how to undermine it—it becomes clear that the Bush administration will continue to support Israel in whatever she does.

The bombing of Iraq in 1990 to the present invasion—which has left almost two million Iraqis dead—has served the hegemony of Israel in the Middle East. It is this point of support of Israel and the actions in Afghanistan, Iraq and Lebanon that raises the question and concern of these actions in the Middle East and the recent words of secretary of education under former president Ronald Reagan, William Bennett, particularly about Blacks in America.

Mr. Bennett talked his way into the headlines in September 2005 during his radio show, Bill Bennett’s Morning in America, when he answered a caller’s comments on Social Security solvency. He mentioned the book “Freakonomics” by Steven Levitt and Stephen Dubner, in which presents the argument that “they deal with this hypothesis, that one of the reasons crime is down is that abortion is up.”

When the caller questioned the accuracy of the statistic, Mr. Bennett countered: “But I do know that it’s true that, if you wanted to reduce crime, you could—if that were your sole purpose—you could abort every Black baby in this country and your crime rate would go down. That would be an impossible, ridiculous and morally reprehensible thing to do, but the crime rate would go down.”

Why are Mr. Bennett’s words so significant? William Bennett was one of the major architects of the Project For A New American Century (PNAC), the neoconservative cabal that designed, structured and forged the war that the Bush administration now carries out in Afghanistan, Iraq and Lebanon. The predetermined idea is also to go into Syria and Iran. This project was first offered to President Bill Clinton in a letter January 28, 1998, of which Mr. Bennett was one of the 18 signatories on the invitation to war against Iraq. Eight of the signatories either have served or are serving in the Bush administration, leading with Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld.

These realities say, in the least, that Mr. Bennett and company have the resolve to work to bring their ideas into fruition. In spite of denial, the reality of the war is here and it would be wise to check our position with respect to Mr. Bennett’s words.

As a reminder, we are moving at a rapid gait, plundering deeper and with more reckless abandon into the apocalyptic warning of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan in a letter dated December 1, 2001 to President George Bush, in what is and will be the historic, evidential record of Minister Farrakhan’s divine mission:

“The coalition that you are gathering will fall away from you and you will have to pursue this war alone. I am afraid that this extended war may take a turn that you and your advisors least expect, and involve America in the greatest of all wars, the War of Armageddon, in which no nation will be left out, including Russia and China. There is no need for a clash of civilizations. The Muslim World has much to learn from the West and the West has much to learn from the Religion of Islam.”
