Can America accept biblical truths from her ex-slaves?
By Jabril Muhammad

I wrote these words in a book, many years ago, to help others to “see” The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan in the early 80s. After you see and hear his final words, in the broadcast and after this month (February) you will see my reason for this article, Allah willing.

*********

The vision spoken of in the 29th chapter of Isaiah, mentioned last week, is the prophetic vision inspired by God through His prophets and messengers that He caused to be written of in what we call Bible. That book has been sealed.  That is to say that its inner meanings have not and could not be understood until the proper time. This is the proper time according to the wisdom of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad.

He has thoroughly explained why the ultimate truths of the Bible were kept as secrets from the world until this day. Neither the learned nor the unlearned could really understand this book until the coming of God and His raising of His servant, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, to make clear and understandable what the prophets, of old were blessed to see of our day and time.

Another factor in the inability of people to understand the Word of God revolves around their lip-profession-type honor, and, as the scriptures say, they “... have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men.”

At the root of this heart condition, is the fact that God allowed His enemies to rule during the last 6,000 years, and He would not interfere with their rule until the end of their time.  The word “men” could refer to either real devils or original men who are ignorant of God.

This is relevant to the marvelous work of Minister Farrakhan in the most powerful country on earth—America—presided over by President Reagan. He is in an office wherein he is regarded by people in every part of the earth as the most powerful being in existence.

I am not saying that the President necessarily thinks of himself as the most powerful of all beings, including the Supreme Being. I don’t think he does. But in terms of the way a great many people speak of the President of the United States, they often speak of the person in that office as if he were Almighty God Himself.

Let me go to the president’s words by means of the joint resolution of Congress that I referred to last week. I am not quoting the entire resolution.  There are seven sections to it that begin with the word “Whereas.”

The sixth and seventh “Whereas” read as follows: “Whereas this nation now faces great challenges that will test this nation as it has never been tested before; and whereas that renewing our knowledge of and faith in God through Holy Scripture can strengthen us as a nation and a people:

“Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, that the President is authorized and requested to designate 1983 as a national ‘Year of the Bible’ in recognition of both the formative influence the Bible has been for our nation, and our national need to study and apply the teachings of the Holy Scripture.”

Think over the words “our national need to study and apply the teaching of the Bible.” This study ought to include the Holy Qur’an. Of course, many of these men in Congress are wise enough to include the Holy Qur’an in their studies. Some of them are Shriners and masons. Moreover, there are many who know that the Holy Qur’an verifies the truth that is in the Bible, and in many significant areas takes us deeper into certain truths.

How many of the rich and powerful are ready for the truth of the scriptures, regardless to where it leads—especially if it comes via a Blackman taught by a Blackman—Minister Louis Farrakhan?

President Ronald Reagan, in the last paragraph of his conclusion in his January 31, 1983 message, which is printed in his report on the budget, reads as follows, “If the challenge before us is great, so, too, are the opportunities.  Let us work together to meet the challenge.  If we fail, if we work at cross purposes, posterity will not forgive us for allowing this opportunity to slip away.”

Now, on that same day he addressed the National Religious Broadcasters, a little after 2:00 P.M., at the Sheraton Washington Hotel.

At one point in his talk he said this, “Facing the future with the Bible—that’s a perfect theme for your convention.” Two sentences later he informed them that he would be signing a proclamation making 1983 the ‘Year of the Bible.’

Now, study these words very carefully. A few moments later the President said, “I’m accused of being simplistic at times with some of the problems that confront us. But I’ve often wondered: Within the covers of that single Book are all the answers to all the problems that face us today, if we’ll only look there.”

It may not be easy—in fact, it is hard—for proud, rich White people to acknowledge the fact that right from among the people whom their fathers enslaved comes the answers to the true interpretation of the Bible and the true understanding of, as well as the solutions to, the problems of America and the world.

Can the Congress of America, her president, her powerful international business people, her skilled scientists in every field—accept the answer to their problems from (an ex-slave) the king of Babylon and his people accepted the divine answers through an ex-slave … (and) was granted around 200 more years to live. This bears upon a great question once raised by the Honorable Elijah Muhammad in an article that he wrote in the late 1950’s entitled, “Can America Repent?”

How many members of Congress believe, as the President seems to believe, that the Bible contains all of the answers to all of the problems that face us today? A little further into his remarks, the President said this, “I’ve always believed that this blessed land was set apart in a special way, that some divine plan placed this great continent here between the two oceans to be found by people from every corner of the Earth ... .”

Now, according to insights from the Honorable Elijah Muhammad he is right. But the president needs his wisdom to see events better.

By the way, this is the same president who witnessed a so-called UFO when he was the governor of California. He ordered his pilot to chase it. There were many witnesses to this on that plane.

He can also get the truth of these planes, described in the Bible, from Minister Farrakhan, if he wants to. But does he have a mind and a heart for truth?

In my humble opinion, White and Black people should do all they can to support the words of Minister Farrakhan.

The above is number one of my reaction to Minister Farrakhan then and now. Part two comes later, Allah willing.
