D.C. welcomes soldier, servant

Hundreds of Believers, guests and visitors turned out in droves to Muhammad Mosque No. 4 in Washington D.C., anticipating the arrival of Brother Rashad Muhammad of Chicago’s Mosque Maryam and a dedicated member of the highly skilled and trained elite security team (E-Team) of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan.
They came to listen, learn and ask questions about Minister Louis Farrakhan’s relationship with global leaders in America and worldwide. On hand to welcome Brother Rashad were Mosque No. 4 Student Regional Laborers, Student Minister Abdul Khadir Muhammad, Student Secretary Dirickson Muhammad, Student F.O.I. Captain Aaron Muhammad, Student M.G.T. Captain Saadiqa Muhammad, Student Protocol Director Brenda Muhammad, and the Believers.
Having traveled approximately 1.3 million miles with the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan in North America, South America, the Isles of the Pacific, and on three World Friendship Tours, Brother Rashad shared many of his personal spiritual experiences he said were guided by Allah (God) Himself.
“He is the man from God,” Bro. Rashad said about Min. Farrakhan. “For too long and over countless extended periods of times, I have witnessed the Minister undergo major illnesses and even sacrifice his life for us because his is the evidence of real love, an action love, a verb,” Brother Rashad proclaimed.
“When we were in Iran, approximately five million people turned out to hear from The Man of God when unexpectedly, many of them rushed forward, nearly trampling him in an effort to touch the hem of his garment,” he said.
At the age of 19, Bro. Rashad joined the Nation of Islam and was assigned to the security team two years later. “I had no idea that I would serve the Honorable Minister Farrakhan in this capacity,” said Bro. Rashad.
“I, like so many others grew up with a strong mother, absent father and with siblings in a neighborhood that society had deemed null and void. However, I heard the “good news” from the Honorable Minister Farrakhan who received it from the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad who walked, talked and studied under Master Fard Muhammad, God In Person,” Bro. Rashad told the audience.
“I thought it to be a wise choice to ask Brother Rashad to our city because the Believers needed to know how deep the Minister’s love is for us,” said Bro. Abdul Khadir Muhammad, Mid-Atlantic and Eastern Regional Minister for the Nation of Islam.
“Hearing real life accounts by Brother Rashad about his traveling with the Minister would give the Believers the spiritual boost and unyielding faith that they need to strengthen them when hearing the life threatening details that he has and continues to suffer to demonstrate his uncompromising love for us,” he added.
As Brother Rashad shared innumerable near death security details during his travels with the Man of God, it was as if Allah (God) were present, thereby causing the audience to erupt with a new sense of adulation and commitment to help. Many Believers and guests were seen with expressions of tears and love.
“This has proven to me that I am traveling with God’s elect, which has made me fall even more in love with Master Fard Muhammad, the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad and the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan,” said Bro. Scotty Muhammad, Student Assistant Minister, Mosque No. 4.
“And, I am so glad to be a member in the Nation of Islam under the leadership of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan,” he added.
