In The Name of Allah, The Beneficent, The Merciful.

Greetings to you.  I am Minister Louis Farrakhan, the National Representative of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, that Great Preacher of Freedom, Justice and Equality to the Black man and woman of America and the Western Hemisphere, and to the Aboriginal People of the Earth; The Eternal Leader of the Nation of Islam, and a Warner to the government and people of the United States of America and the nations of the Earth.

Our subject today, on the 36th edition of “The Time And What Must Be Done,” is from the Teachings of the Honorable Elijah Muhammad titled:  “Farming is The Engine of Our National Life.”

The Genesis of any Nation is ‘farming’

Many of us who pursue a profession in life never give a second thought to the fact that “farming” and “agriculture” is the first profession that Allah (God) introduced to man.

If we study the Book of Genesis, which represents the beginning of this world—and it also represents the beginning of every nation, in Chapter 2:  God, after He worked six days creating the heavens, the earth, the rivers, the lakes, the fish, the cattle, the herbs, the insects, the trees, the birds, the bushes, in verse 2, He lamented, saying, “…and there was no man to till the ground.”  So in verse 15 it reads:  “And the Lord God took the man”—that He had made—“and put him into the Garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.”

According to the dictionary, “to dress” means “to make or set straight; to prepare for use or service; to add decorative details or accessories to; to trim, to ornament or adorn; to cultivate, to tend.”

God gave Adam earth, but in the “breathing into Adam of His Spirit” (Gen. 2:7), He had to give him the knowledge of “how to do” what He asked him to do!  If Adam was to “dress the Garden,” he needed the knowledge of how to cultivate what he had been given!  So “The Gift of God to Man” is earth; and also, the knowledge of how to dress it.  And “the fowl and the cattle” that are on that land (Gen. 2:20) teaches us that the second profession after “farming” is animal husbandry.

The point we are making is that the first profession, as the basic support for all labor and all divisions of human labor, is the labor of tilling the ground, “farming”—“feeding oneself”; and, taking care of the gift of animals that The Creator has given for the benefit of man.  So “farming” and “animal husbandry” are the first professions, and are the engine of every nation.

For the ex-slave, land ownership is the basis of independence, the pathway to wealth

What makes one a “slave”?  One of the things that “The Black Codes” and “The Slave Codes” did to Black people was that we had no right to own land.  Blacks were prohibited from buying or renting farmland except in designated all-Black, but White-controlled, areas.  Black people were forbidden to sell farm products like flour, cotton, hay, rice, peas, wheat, etc., without written permission from a White man, thus disallowing independent Black agribusiness, and eliminating the potential threat of Black competition in farming.

From 1865 (the time of “Emancipation”) to 1910, Blacks had risen from slavery—where we owned nothing—to acquiring 16 million acres of land, mostly in the South.  However, increased debt load, plus a rash of lynching over the 30-year period from 1890 to 1920, effectively drove millions of Blacks off their land in the South into the ghettoes of the North to work for the northern industrialists.  As of the date of this message, Black farmers own less than 4 million acres of land—a 75 percent decrease of what we were able to amass by 1910, 45 years after slavery!

We owned 16 million acres of land... And since “ownership of land” is the basis of independence, then there had to have been a scheme to deprive Black people not only of the land, but to destroy in us the desire for land, or even to work the land!  One of these schemes was the “sharecropping system” that Blacks had to endure to work their land after the time of Emancipation and Reconstruction.  In this system of “sharecropping,” all that the sharecropper brought to the arrangement was his labor; the planter provided the land, animals, equipment, seeds and other items.  The landowners also commonly advanced credits for the farmer’s living expenses until the crop was harvested.  The system was open to considerable abuse because the sharecroppers, for the most part, were uneducated, commonly illiterate, as it had been illegal to teach slaves to read.  The landowner marketed the crop and kept all accounts; he charged interest on cash advances, often quite high interest!  He also commonly operated a store where the sharecroppers had to make their purchases.  The normal arrangement was that the sharecropper received half the proceeds from the harvest—but the landowner then deducted cash advances which, because of high interest and dishonest accounting, commonly left the sharecropper with very little, or even in debt.

So here we are in the 21st Century, and 75-80 percent of what we once owned, we don’t have.  We are more dependent now than ever on someone else to feed, clothe and shelter us.

In 1970, out of the $75 billion that Americans spent on food, over half ($40 billion) went directly to the farmers.  However, by 1998 Americans spent over $450 billion on food—but the farmer only received just over $100 billion for the raw product that went into the “food,” which is a loss of 75 percent of what the farmer used to make!  The American people began to eat less self-prepared food at home and more processed food or restaurant meals.  So in 1998, $100 billion dollars of Americans’ total food budget went to the fast-food industry.  The result has been a reduction in the overall health of Americans in general, and Black people in particular.

Most health specialists agree that the loss of the health of Black people is directly related to the foods we consume.  The loss of access to the land has resulted in a loss of health, and non-growth in wealth, for the masses of Black people.

In 1866, one year after slavery, “The Southern Homestead Act” was passed, which gave 160-640 acres of land to White immigrants, including many members of the Jewish community coming from the Alsace region of France and Eastern Europe.  These immigrants helped to settle 46 million acres of “public domain” land in the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana, and Mississippi.  At the same time, Blacks in the South were denied our promised “40 acres and a mule,” and we were not even allowed to purchase land in many of the western frontier states.

Renewing proper respect, as God sees it, for ‘farming’ and ‘the farmer’

In the monumental book by the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, Message To The Blackman in America, in the Chapter “Original Man” on page 56 is an article titled “Help Self: What Must Be Done With The [so-called] Negroes?”  He wrote that “in order to start doing for ourselves,” we must start with the acquisition of land“Since our being brought in chains to the shores of America, our brain power, labor, skills, talent and wealth have been taken, given and spent toward building and adding to the civilization of another people. It is time for you and me, the so-called Negroes, to start doing for ourselves. We must not let our children be as we are, beggars of another man for his home, facilities, clothing, food and the means of providing a living. Man depends on land for the necessities [of life], food, clothing and shelter for survival. A prime requisite for freedom and independence is having one’s own land. There can be no freedom without a people having their own land.  The acquisition of land has been the factor for more wars than any other cause. Economists agree that in order for any type of nation or system, capitalism or communism, democracy or totalitarian or what have you, to exist and have a degree of independence there must be ownership of land.”

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad continued:  “…As a people we must become producers and not remain consumers and employees. We must be able to extract raw materials from the earth and manufacture them into something useful for ourselves. This would create jobs in production.  [And] we must remember that without land there is no production.  The surplus of what we produce we could sell. …”—and of course, this would open up areas of trade and commerce for us.  “Land ownership,” my beloved brothers and sisters, is The Pathway to Wealth.

In the Chapter “Economic Program,” under the section “A Sound Economic Plan I” on page 196, the Honorable Elijah Muhammad also wrote that “the farm” is the engine of our national life!  So he taught us that “The economical way to use the money”—that we are about to ask you to put into a certain bank; and we will make that announcement at the 18th Anniversary of The Million Man March in Tuskegee, Alabama on October 19th and 20th—the most wise way to use the money we save “is first to buy farm land and produce your own food.”  Elijah Muhammad writes we “can raise enough cattle, sheep, cows and chickens by the thousands if…” we try following his “Economic Blueprint”; we can “purchase real estate, buy farm and timberland. … Get clay land. …”

But look at the disrespect that we have for farmersEverywhere I have traveled throughout this Earth where Black people live, I have observed that Black people are not producing food to feed our populations in Africa, in The Caribbean, in Central and South America.  Why is that?  Why are we buying food in The Caribbean from America, from Australia, from England, from Europe, from France?  Why are we doing this when the land under our foot is rich?  Instead of looking down on a farmer, we should respect the profession that Allah (God) first gave to man.

This is the route to self-independence:  Owning land and cultivating it to produce from the earth everything we need to live, and become a productive people; then sell the surplus through trade and commerce, which produces an economy and generates wealth!  But if you ask children in school today, “What would you like to become when you grow up?” they will say a fireman, a policeman, a doctor, a lawyer; some may even say an astronaut, or some will say an engineer.  But you will probably not find one that will say, “I want to be a farmer.”  “Farming” and “the farmer” is the lowest on the totem pole of respect as a profession.  Yet, all professional people come home at some point to eat!

All human beings, regardless of race, creed or color, are forced to eat; every creature that God created, He put in the creation something for that creature to eat to continue its life:  The preservation of life, the maintenance of life, the reproduction of life.  So farming then, and the farmer—from The Eyes of God—is the foundation of everything.

***

People think you have to have a great education to become wealthy.  Not so.  In March 2013, I and a delegation traveled to Belize in Central America, where we visited the Mennonite Christian community there.  They owned over 100,000 acres of land, though they migrated from southern Mexico into Belize, and started with 20 acres of land.  I asked them, “What is their degree of education?” and they kind of smiled, and said they “go as far as the 8th grade.”  But they are feeding half of the population of Belize!  They know how to farm…  And, with a smile, they said, “We know how to count money!”—and they told us that they are quite wealthy, because everyone needs to eat.

So, for our open enemy to kill our love for the land, and kill our desire for ownership of land—and to kill our desire to be a farmer, knowing that farming is one of the most dignified of all professions, that gives dignity and worth to other professions:  To deprive us of this knowledge is absolute wickedness! And this is why the scriptures teach in the Book of Hosea, Chapter 4, verse 6, “My people are destroyed for the lack of knowledge… .”

‘Aging farmers’ and ‘too few students, teachers of agriculture’:  Who will ‘fill the gap’?

“The student of agriculture”:  Wherever I have gone among our young people in Agricultural and Mechanical Land Grant Colleges, when I have asked, “How many of you are studying agriculture?” I was shocked at how there is only very few who would raise their hand to say they are studying “farming” and “agriculture.”  The youth are just not interested in studying farming and agriculture.  They just don’t see the value of that.

Did you know that the average age of farmers throughout the world is such that it needs to be studied?  The average farmer in Africa is 60 years of age; in the United States, 58 years of age; in Japan, 66 years of age; in Australia, 58 years of age; and in The Caribbean, 62 years of age.  The most striking feature is that although 58.7 percent of Blacks in the cities are under 35 years of age, only 4 percent of Black farmers are under 35!  On the other hand, 25 percent of Black farmers are over 70 years of age, while only 5.5 percent of the Black non-farm population is over 70!  So when the older Black farmers die off, there is no one to fill the gap.

“The teacher of Agriculture”:  Several factors continue to influence the ability in having an ample supply of well‐trained, highly‐qualified teachers of agriculture vital to sustain and grow agricultural education across the country.  There are just not enough qualified teachers to teach agriculture; and because students are going away from it, then these courses are very weak even when they are offered!  These are just a few of the alarming facts of the teacher shortage facing “agricultural education.”  If you don’t have a teacher, you can’t produce “a student”—and if you don’t have students taking agriculture, you don’t need an agriculture teacher!

So what does this tell us?  It tells us that we are out of “the farming business,” and we are completely dependent on somebody else to feed us!  The Honorable Elijah Muhammad said, “No people can be free with their mouth in the kitchen of another, particularly in the kitchen of our former slave masters and their children.”  As long as we do not own land, we are not going to be a productive people.  We will continue to be “a consumer nation.”  And as long as we are not respecting the profession of farming and the cultivation of land and producing of quality food, then our life, our health, our well-being is in the hands of our former slave masters and their children.

And you know they don’t know what to do with us; we’ve become a “problem.”  With nearly 50 million of us, they won’t be able to provide jobs for us, so many White scientists are thinking, “What can we do with the Negroes?”

***

According to the most recent United States Census of Agriculture (2007), “farming,” as an “occupation,” has decreased from 64 percent of the labor force in 1850 to less than 1 percent in 2013Here we are, in 2013:  There are over 313,000,000 people living in the United States, and of that population, less than 1 percent claim “farming” as an occupation; and from over 6,500,000 farms owned by farmers in America at one time, America now is down to 2.2 million farms.  So what we are looking at is the destruction of The Engine of National Life.

That’s not only in America, but in The Caribbean, Central America, South America and Africa.  So where is the average third world country getting their food?  Who is growing it?  And what is the quality of the food that third world people are eating?  And even in the developed nations:  What is the quality of the food that the American people are eating at the time of this broadcast?  What is the quality of food of the European people?  The people of Brazil—and all over the world?

You can’t become, or even think, according to the Jewish Talmud, that we are “men” unless we are producers.  Look at The Command given to Adam in the Book of Genesis, Chapter 1, verse 28“Adam, multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it.” In order to “multiply” you have to have a multiplier and a multiplicand, and you produce a product!  So God was saying to Man:  “You are not a ‘man’ unless you are a producer!”—and maybe that is why all our lives people have been referring to us as boys

And “boys” in a house are always looking for mama and daddy to give them something to eat.

But when a boy becomes a man, he leaves the house of his mother and father, and begins to produce those necessities for self.  According to the book by Rabbi Julius Newman titled The Agricultural Life of the Jews in Babylonia Between the Years 200 C. E. and 500 C. E., did you know that in the Talmud it was said by Rabbi R. Eleazar that: “…it was essential for every man to be the owner of at least some land. The same R. Eleazar who preferred business to agriculture maintained that any one who did not possess real estate was not worthy of the name of man.” (pg. 35)?

Brothers and sisters:  How much real estate do you own?  How much land do we have?  And according to the Talmud [Shabbath 25b in The Babylonian Talmud, pt. 2, Mo‘ed, vol. 1 (London: Soncino Press, 1935), 112]: “Second-century rabbi Tarfon taught that wealth itself was determined by the following criterion: ‘He who possesses a hundred vineyards, a hundred fields and a hundred slaves working in them,’” is a wealthy man.

And wherever you find Jewish people in every society in the world, they are possessors of 1.) Land, 2.) Real estate, 3.) Servants, and 4.) Wealth.

‘The Depopulation Blueprint’:  NSSM 200, Global 2000, Ecoscience reveal ‘worldwide culling’ aims

During my 2012 Saviours’ Day Message, “What Will 2012 Bring To America, The World and Black and Oppressed People? (February 26, 2012)” we spoke on a plan by the government of the United States, led by Dr. Henry Kissinger, to engage in worldwide de-population of the darker peoples of the world.  Mr. Kissinger, as Secretary of State under President Richard M. Nixon, signed National Security Study Memorandum (“NSSM”) 200 titled:  “Implications of Worldwide Population Growth for U.S. Security and Overseas Interests.”  It was adopted as official policy in 1975 by President Gerald Ford

Those who have analyzed the report said Mr. Kissinger proposed that “de-population should be the highest priority of U.S. foreign policy towards the Third World.”  Think about that!  In an article titled “NSSM 2000: Blueprint For De-Population,” published Thursday, July 9, 1998 in Canada’s The Interim newspaper online, Jean Guilfoyle writes:  “…Although this plan of action was to be activated in developing countries, it was designed as a two-edged sword that could be swung with equal determination in both developed and developing countries alike. …”—because in developing countries, like America, a growing number of third world people live!  The writer continues:  “The document was signed by Henry Kissinger and directed to the secretaries of defense, agriculture and central intelligence, the deputy secretary of state, and the administrator of the Agency for International Development, with a copy to the Joint Chiefs of Staff.”

This was taken like a “theater of war”!  And all factions of government were introduced to this to develop plans, and activate plans internationally, to cull between 2-3 billion people from the face of the Earth!

Well, Mr. Kissinger prepared yet another depopulation manifesto for President Jimmy Carter called “The Global 2000 Report to The President,” which detailed using food as a “weapon” to depopulate the third world.  So then Zbigniew Brzezinski, President Carter’s national security adviser, said:  “It’s easier to kill a million people today, than to control a million people… .”  And so, the killing of millions is going on.

Let’s see what’s happening to us.

***

These groups, the Department of Defense, the Department of Agriculture, the Central Intelligence Agency (“CIA”), the United States Agency for International Development (“USAID”) and the Joint Chiefs of Staff, I’m sorry to tell you:  They are planning death on a worldwide scale.  They have used a series of methods to affect “Global De-Population,” such as depleted uranium bombs, genetically modified foods, chemical additives in foods, poison in vaccines, famine, AIDS, chemtrails, and illegal wars

This Plan for “culling the population” is not only in the “Third World,” but it comes right back home to the United States of AmericaIn March 2009, President Barack Obama appointed as a “Science Czar” Dr. John P. Holdren, who is Assistant to the President for Science and Technology, Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, and Co-Chair of the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST).  This same Dr. Holdren wrote on the subject of “over population” in an article in 1969 titled “Population and Panaceas: A Technological Perspective [published in the December 1969 edition of BioScience (Vol. 19, No. 12, pp. 1065-1071)].  Co-authored with Paul R. Ehrlich, he argued that, quote:  “…if the population control measures are not initiated immediately, and effectively, all the technology man can bring to bear will not fend off the misery to come.”

In 1977, Mr. Holdren co-authored a book, this time with Paul and Anne Ehrlich entitled: “Ecoscience: Population, Resources, Environment.”  And among the issues discussed in this textbook were what appears in Chapter 13, “Population Policies”:

No. 1, “the use of milder methods of influencing family size preferences” such as access to birth control and abortion: “Compulsory control of family size is an unpalatable idea, but the alternatives may be much more horrifying. As those alternatives become clearer to an increasing number of people in the 1980s, they may begin demanding such control. A far better choice, in our view, is to expand the use of milder methods of influencing family size preferences, while redoubling efforts to ensure that the means of birth control, including abortion and sterilization, are accessible to every human being on Earth within the shortest possible time. If effective action is taken promptly against population growth, perhaps the need for the more extreme involuntary or repressive measures can be averted in most countries.”

So in all the major cities, particularly among the Black and the Brown and the Native Americans, these “milder methods” were used.

No. 2, the possible role of a wide variety of solutions to overpopulation, from voluntary family planning to enforced population controls—including “forced sterilization” for women after they gave birth to a designated number of children; and “compulsory abortion” by adding sterilants to drinking water or staple foods“A program of sterilizing women after their second or third child, despite the relatively greater difficulty of the operation than vasectomy, might be easier to implement than trying to sterilize men. This of course would be feasible only in countries where the majority of births are medically assisted. Unfortunately, such a program therefore is not practical for most less-developed countries (although in China mothers of three children are commonly ‘expected’ to undergo sterilization). …Adding a sterilant to drinking water or staple foods is a suggestion that seems to horrify people more than most proposals for involuntary fertility control. Indeed, this would pose some very difficult political, legal, and social questions, to say nothing of the technical problems. …To be acceptable, such a substance would have to meet some rather stiff requirements: it must be uniformly effective, despite widely varying doses received by individuals, and despite varying degrees of fertility and sensitivity among individuals; it must be free of dangerous or unpleasant side effects; and it must have no effect on members of the opposite sex, children, old people, pets, or livestock.  Physiologist Melvin Ketchel, of the Tufts University School of Medicine, suggested that a sterilant could be developed that would have a very specific action—for example, preventing implantation of the fertilized ovum. He proposed that it be used to reduce fertility levels by adjustable amounts, anywhere from 5 to 75 percent, rather than to sterilize the whole population completely. In this way, fertility could be adjusted from time to time to meet a society’s changing needs, and there would be no need to provide an antidote. …”

Well, what does this word “sterilant” mean?  “To sterilize” means “to make someone or something unable to produce children, or young animals, etc.; to deprive of the power of reproducing; to make incapable of germination; to make powerless or useless, usually by restraining from a normal function, relation or participation.”

You mean to tell me that they are going to add into water that which will forbid us to reproduce?  And, they say, “We’re not only going to add to the water, but we’re going to add it to the staple foods”—that people eat every day?  The American people really need to see what the government is doing, and how terrible the government is to allow something like this as “policy” not only in Third World countries, but its policy right here in America!

The Chemistry of Death: Staple foods used by various cultures are targets of wicked scientists

Do you like Pop Tarts?  Do you like Frosted Flakes?  A chemist who works for Kellogg came in the barber shop one day, and said: “Don’t eat sugared cereals, because in the sugar is the poison that sterilizes and brings cancer.”  “Sugar” is a drug that makes you want it again, and again, and again.  It’s a habit-forming chemical.  [Note: “Sugar” is the generalized name for a class of chemically-related sweet-flavored substances, most of which are used as food. They are carbohydrates, composed of carbon (C), hydrogen (H) and oxygen (O).]

Well, what are “staple foods,” because these poisonous chemicals are not just in the water, now; they’re in the staple foods.  A “staple food” is a food that can be stored for use throughout the year, or produced fresh any time of the year; and forms the basis of a traditional diet; it is a food that is eaten routinely, and in such quantities that it constitutes a dominant portion of a standard diet in a given population.

Typical examples of staples include tuber (or “root crops”), such as:  Beets, Carrots, Parsnips, Potatoes, Turnips, Radishes, Sweet Potatoes.  Other “staples” are Grains, Legumes and other seeds; maize (or Corn); Wheat, Rice, Cassava, Soy Beans, Sorghum, Yams and Plantain.  These are the staple foods of various cultures!  From the Asian people, it’s “rice”; to the people of Central and South America, it’s corn (or maize), and some of the legumes, or beans.

So when you get bread that is supposed to contain “wheat”—but, if you didn’t grow that wheat, where did you get the seeds from that wheat?  Where is the corn coming from?  These are the things that are being used to “cull” populations all over the planet Earth!  Wheat, now, is genetically engineered!  Corn is genetically engineered!  Many vegetables are genetically modified—and the food industry is fighting to keep from advertising what it really is!

According to the American Society for Nutrition, in its Journal of Nutrition (April 2006, Volume 136, Number 4, pages 1064-1067), published an Abstract entitled “Biofortification of Staple Food Crops.”  Well, according to this Abstract, “biofortification” is:  “The development of micronutrient-dense staple crops using the best traditional breeding practices and modern biotechnology.”  It goes on to state:  “Deficiencies of vitamin A, iron, and zinc affect over one-half of the world’s population. Progress has been made to control micronutrient deficiencies through supplementation and food fortification, but new approaches are needed, especially to reach the rural poor.  Biofortification (enriching the nutrition contribution of staple crops through plant breeding) is one option… The challenge is to get producers and consumers to accept biofortified crops and increase their intake of the target nutrients. With the advent of good seed systems, the development of markets and products, and demand creation, this can be achieved..”  Are they really “enhancing” the food with nutrients, or are they making sure that those who eat it become victims of the policy to cull the people of the Third World?

According to an October 2007 article by Lloyd Grove titled “The World According to Lynn Forester de Rothschild,” originally published on “Portfolio.com” (now renamed the Upstart Business Journal), The Rothschilds made a major investment in the India produce market, and became the “No. 1 producer of fruits in the world and No. 2 vegetable growers.”  The Rothschilds’ upstart company Field Fresh has now taken over the food production of fruits and vegetables in India; so this says to us that they are going to push out “the small farmer,” and crush him—and they will be the mass producer, sending food from India all over the world.

***

Now this Mr. Holdren, the “czar” of science and technology under President Obama who wrote a paper, and then a book, on “limiting population growth” by putting sterilants in water and in staple foods—I would like to ask Mr. Holdren, since you are now an “adviser” to our president: Are you still of the same mind as the man who wrote the article and the book? Because these policies that you talked about are still in practice, as government policy, today:  They sterilize us; or, they force us to be sterilized.  This goes on in the prison, and it goes on heavily among the Native people.

The importance of this data is this:  When we juxtaposed the “decrease in farming,” with this “Memorandum 200” by Kissinger and “the culling of the population of the planet” with a policy of “population control”—or depopulation in the United States—then we can see now how food is used as a “weapon” in that process!  And then, the control of the “means of production of food” and the “methodology in producing the food”:  All of this is a part of the policy, now, of the Department of Agriculture, the FDA Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”), and the CIAThey are all linked together.

The Chemistry of Death: Poisonous water supplies, and ‘the pawns’ of a chemical-filled makeup industry

Also in this book Ecoscience, Chapter 10 titled “Direct Assaults on Well-Being,” it talks about “depopulation” by putting certain chemicals in the water“Water pollutants take many forms. One useful classification follows: Disease-causing organisms—specifically parasites, bacteria, and viruses, which often enter water with human sewage; Synthetic organic compounds in the form of industrial, household, and agricultural chemicals, as well as water-treatment chemicals added deliberately and the products formed by the reaction of these with other contaminants …  Water pollutants also can be classified by their effects: direct impact on health in the form of bacterial or viral disease; production of cancer, genetic defects, and birth defects; other varieties of acute and chronic toxicity to people; and effects on ecosystems, through which an impact on human beings may subsequently be felt.  … Pesticides, radioactivity, fluorides, and heavy metals (which occur in air and soil as well as in water) are treated in more detail later in this chapter. These and other water pollutants receive further attention in the discussions of carcinogens and mutagens. …”

Fluoride is a poison!  Sodium Fluoride is a poison that is used in the production of sarin gas!  Sodium Fluoride is an inorganic chemical compound (formula “NaF”); a colorless solid.  Toothpaste contains sodium fluoride, with a claim to “reduce cavities.”  So every time you drink from the tap, fluorinated water, you’re drinking some of the poison that they say will keep you from having cavities.  But your children, by the age of 6 and 7 and 8, have cavities!  When I grew up, I never knew what a “cavity” was; there was no “fluoridation of water” at that time!

Let’s look at some of the “Facts About Fluoride” that appear in an article by Paul Joseph Watson and Matt Ryan titled “Poison Tap Water” on InfoWars.com:  Fluoride is a waste byproduct of the fertilizer and aluminum industry, and it’s also a “Part II Poison” under the UK Poisons Act 1972; Fluoride is one of the basic ingredients in both Prozac (FLUoxetene Hydrochloride) and Sarin nerve gas (Isopropyl-Methyl-Phosphoryl FLUoride).  In an article by Maria Hoven titled “Foods Containing Fluoride,” posted on the website Livestrong.com dated July 25, 2013, she identifies foods containing this poison fluoride:  “Fluoride toxicity can have adverse effects on your kidneys and it can also cause skeletal fluorosis in adults. Children who consume high amounts of fluoride can suffer from dental fluorosis, which develops when you consume too much fluoride from birth to age 8 when your teeth are forming… .”  And she states some of the following foods that contain sodium fluoride, for example, instant formula—that you give your babies; juices and tea, soda, cereals; wine and beer.

Another toxic chemical additive in foods is the diet sweetener Aspartame, which is the sweetener used in all “diet” drinks.  It is considered a “carcinogenic,” meaning it can, and will, and is, producing cancers.

***

Why should Sodium Fluoride be used, or sent, to a cosmetic firm?  Now, that made me think; when you make cosmetics, and some of these are perfumes, cologne:  Why would you put P. Diddy on a fragrance?  Or Beyoncé on a fragrance?  Beyoncé and P. Diddy have lines of fragrances; Madonna has fragrances, others have fragrances who are popular, who are famous, who are loved.  But what is in the chemistry?!

P. Diddy is not a “chemist”!  Beyoncé is not a “chemist’!  They are beautiful people being used in a way that if these fragrances have this “fluoride” in it, this Sodium Fluoride, then every time you spray it on yourself, you’re “smelling sweet”—but it’s going into your pores, it’s going into your system!  And, over time, cancer develops in your body!  Oh my…  So if The Enemy is that clever, that he can make chemicals to make you think you’re eating “chicken,” when in fact it’s chemistry, then what is being put in these fragrances with your favorite Black person, or White person, using the fragrance?

Our popular people:  How did we become perfume sellers?  How did that happen?  Who approached you…  Was it Tattaglia?  Or Barzini? [reference: A scene in The Godfather movie].  Who approached you?  How did you get interested?  The Enemy is working 24/7 to cull the population—and he will use all of us to do it.  We have to be wise today, and ask for a breakdown in all the chemicals that are being used, particularly when our names are attached to it.

So look at the collusion [definition: “secret operation between people in order to do something illegal or underhanded”] now:   When they started putting fluoride in the water, they had to sell the American people that “this was going to help your teeth,” while in reality it was helping to make us sterile!  The Black farmers are still in a struggle with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, who were ultimately found to have discriminated against Black farmers from 1983 to 1997—14 years; in accessing loans and other needed assistance, they were denied!

If the government is allowing these things to happen to the American people, can the government then be charged with being “the enemy”—and not the servant—of the American people?  My God…

If you’re doing this to us, why should we fight when you tell us?  How can we trust you if you’re killing us through the food, and its policy?

How can we trust what you say—to put our young people in harm’s way?

Why should we pay taxes to a government that is using our tax dollars to implement policies that are killing the American people?

We have to challenge a government like this!  Dr. Martin Luther King challenged unjust laws by organizing people—so people have to begin organizing to challenge all these things that are hurting the American people; and culling, and killing, people all over our planet!

This is why we are coming to Tuskegee for the 18th Anniversary of The Million Man March, and inviting college students from all the HBCUs in Alabama, and those studying in White universities that have Black Student Unions!  We are inviting all the students from the HBCUs in Mississippi, Georgia, Louisiana, Texas—and all students who would be willing to come!  Because you, students, are the foundation of what God desires:  To make use of you; and freeing us from poverty and want!  The scriptures tell us your value, and I will disclose it to you on October 19th and 20th in Tuskegee, Alabama!

‘The Cycle of Life’ and the righteousness required to make us the best farmers

My beloved brothers and sisters:  We have got to go back to the land!  We have to go back to “The Garden”!  Did you know that during World War I and World War II, the government imitated something called “Victory Gardens”?  These “Victory Gardens,” I remember them when I was a little boy:  Everybody was asked to take land in the cities; or if you had it around your house, or on your roof, to go on and plant food—which the American people did.

We need to start gardens; gardens in the inner cities.  But you have to learn how to do it right; and, I’ll tell you—go online to www.Growing Power.org by Will Allen, and let him instruct you, as he’s instructing us, on how that should be done!  In every city there is land that is not being used.  We should ask the city for it, and we should begin to do some farming!   But in the meantime, we have to do big farming, because we need 100 million acres of land to make a start in feeding our people, and others.

I close with this point:  The Cycle of Life and Death enriches the earthThe Honorable Elijah Muhammad said to me:  “Oh, yes, brother!  God allows us to live, and then we die; and we go back into the earth.  And by going back to the earth, a richer sperm will come up.”  Not only is the earth enriched by death—life is enriched by death!  Throughout the Holy Qur’an, it teaches that Allah (God) “brings the dead from the living, and the living from the dead”—this is a beautiful Cycle of Nature.

Look at the Native people, how they look at the Earth—they call it “Mother Earth” and “Father Sky.”  I wish I had time in this message to show you how “heaven” and “earth” to work together for the good of those of us who live on the Earth.

Every farmer knows how to pray:  Because after you plant your seed, cultivate the earth, and do your job of de-weeding and looking after the insects and the enemies to your crop, then you have to look up [from tending to the ground], and say:  “Oh God, send the light of the sun!  Oh God, send the clouds filled with water.”  So, farmers know how to pray.  The Native Americans did a “rain dance” because they knew without Father Sky, Mother Earth would die.

We need to learn how righteousness will make us the best farmers on our planet.  The God Who is over all The Laws of Nature will bless us if we farm, and come back to righteous conduct.

Thank you for reading these words, and may Allah bless you!  And remember:  “Farming” is The Engine of Our National Life.
