Obama, Romney & The Lie of "American Exceptionalism"

(FinalCall.com) - America has to first face the reality of her condition, said Minister Farrakhan during his Oct. 21 national address, and it begins with challenging the concept of "American exceptionalism" which he described as an "exceptional lie."

Going back to references first attributed to political thinker and historian Alexis de Tocqueville in the 19th century, American exceptionalism is defined as "the belief that the United States is different from other countries in that it has a specific world mission to spread liberty and democracy.
