The outcome of the trial of George Zimmerman for the killing of Trayvon Martin doesn’t come down to burden of proof, legal arguments or the case put on by Florida prosecutors. It comes down to the attitudes about Black life and the ever-present danger that we face living among the children of our former slavemasters.

When we were brought to this country the plan was to work us to death and since the failure of that plan, there have always been fears about our growing numbers.

White America has always feared instinctively that there was a price to pay for their cruel mistreatment and murder of us as a people. So no matter how young and no matter what we are doing, we remain a threat to Caucasian people.

But could it be that there is a little more to it? Could Caucasian people know something that we know not? If we are such inferior and worthless people, why is it necessary to oppress, mislead, deceive and murder us? If we are the inferior won’t we display our inferior status and naturally display our ineptitude?

The wise among Caucasians know not only what to expect from universal law, but that we fulfill the prophecy of Abraham’s children and that a deliverer would come to liberate us. “When the Deliverer was to come in the days of Moses, Pharaoh hatched a conspiracy and killed the male children because he knew the Deliverer would be among the oppressed—and he’s going to be a man. When the Deliverer was to come in the days of Jesus, Herod said: ‘Kill the boy babies.’  Now, we are at the end:  The time that Jesus The Prophet prophesied of in the coming of Jesus the Messiah, who would come in his name into the world after the workings of Satan; and Jesus the Messiah would begin to expose Satan,” said the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan in Part 26 of his weekly series, “The Time and What Must Be Done.”

This accounts for their ever present snooping and surveillance of a people who have never been able to act for themselves and a people that have been used as a tool and a slave.

It is also related to the outright hatred of Black people that pervades society, leads to the spilling of innocent blood and nearly always results in a finding that justifies homicide and excuses killing.

The enemy, however, despite all of his evil acts and plots cannot escape the law of justice and the divine judgment imposed by Almighty God Allah. In the Bible, it is said that the blood from Abel to Zacharias will be brought on one generation—or there will come a time of judgment in which all of those who have been unjustly murdered will be avenged. So the killing of Trayvon Martin, while tragic and painful, is another murder of an innocent that Allah himself will avenge.

Over the years, Min. Farrakhan has offered divine guidance and sound judgment, urging America to give justice while the power was still in her hands. His warnings and his truthful arguments have gone unheeded and the slaughter of Black people has gone on unabated. We are constantly abused and lose our lives as lawful captives and prey held in the hands of the mighty.

But the One prophesied to come to deliver justice is on the scene today. No power in America can fight against the Divine Supreme Being and win. They will be utterly destroyed. So while we ache from the pain of Trayvon’s death, it shall not go without divine consequences. Allah (God) promises to destroy the wicked and his promise is sure.

Our task is to get on the right side of Allah (God) so that when our enemies are destroyed we are not destroyed alongside them. This is the day of our redemption and the day of our rise. All we have to do is to submit to Allah (God), act in accord with His will, reject self-hatred and fratricide, and separate from our former slavemasters.
