While U.S. paints itself as global peacemaker, her history reveals a violent past

Minister Farrakhan to keep exposing and warning errant rulers despite danger

CHICAGO (FinalCall.com) - Reverberations were still being felt from the previous week’s message as the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan again detailed the U.S. government’s sordid history of covert operations across the globe and spanning decades. He continued a subject explored seven days earlier with Part 14 of his planned 52-week online lecture series titled “The Time and What Must Be Done.”

The segment aired April 13.

With a remarkable command of historical facts, the Minister disclosed more instances in which the American government used deceptive practices—including covert operations and manipulation through propaganda—to achieve objectives different from noble sounding purposes given by government spokespersons.

These covert campaigns are sometimes referred to as False Flag operations. False Flag operations are designed to deceive and conceal the true intentions and identities of those responsible for a particular event or crime. Governments throughout history have used such tactics to sway elections, to aid in the establishment or furtherance of foreign or domestic policy, and to take nations to war.

Using language found in the scriptures, the Minister referred to these incidents as “lying wonders.”

“I know it’s difficult for us to wrap our minds around wickedness so great that people would plot to get the country into war at the expense of young patriotic men and women, but this is exactly what has happened,” said Min. Farrakhan.

The Minister cited the writings of prominent New York-based journalist and social critic Naomi Wolf, who in her book “The End of America: Letter of Warning to a Young Patriot,” observed the first step toward fascism is to “invoke a terrifying internal and external enemy” for people to focus on. “Creating a terrifying threat—hydra-like, secretive, evil—is an old trick,” she noted.

A record of deception and death

“Let’s look at some of our presidents and what they have said and what they have done to cause the loss of life of hundreds, thousands and tens of thousands of American patriots who loved their country but have been constantly deceived by their leadership,” said Min. Farrakhan.

In 1898 U.S. President William McKinley lied about an explosion aboard the U.S.S. Maine anchored in Havana Harbor which killed 260 American servicemen. The American government and the media said Spain was responsible, however, they offered no evidence, said the Minister. The destruction of the ship served as a catalyst leading to the Spanish-American war, in which America achieved her objective of gaining control of Cuba, Puerto Rico, the Philippines and Guam.

America entered World War I after a questionable chain of events as well—after Germany sank a British ocean liner, The Lusitania which was carrying weapons. President Woodrow Wilson, now in his second term, feared America would be left out of shaping of post-war world, said Min. Farrakhan. America while claiming to be neutral aided the British by sending them arms to fight the Germans, which is why the Germans torpedoed the ship. America entered the war against Germany.

By the end of the war, President Wilson got his wish as America held a key role in the formation of the League of Nations, a forerunner of the present day United Nations.

During World War II, United Kingdom Prime Minister Winston Churchill wanted U.S. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt to lead America into war. President Roosevelt said “he would wage war, but he would not declare it, and that he would become more and more provocative,” said Min. Farrakhan.

Is this same scenario being seen today as American forces are provoking North Korea?

He then talked about the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor, which actually brought America fully into WWII; the incident at Gulf of Tonkin in which media distorted events leading to the desired escalation and involvement in Vietnam, as well as the documented Bush administration lies in the run up to the war on Iraq.

The same tactics are being used against Iran and the same strategies have been used to establish regime change in Muslim nations, many of whom were a part of the so-called “Arab Spring,” he said. And of course, one cannot forget the strange and suspicious circumstances associated with 9/11 attacks on the World Trade Center, which was used to justify war on Afghanistan, and the Muslim world, Min. Farrakhan said.

“America now is at war with Islam, make no mistake about it,” he said.

Modern technology to spread truth

The Minister lauded the efforts of the young people in the Nation of Islam and their consistent efforts to use Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube to fill the Internet with intelligent discourse rather than the vanity and useless foolishness constantly shared via social media. He also said representatives of the Nation of Islam under his leadership should “respond intelligently” to questions about what is heard during his popular weekly broadcasts, even when detractors expressed doubt and spew “vitriol and bitterness.”

“Some of you are so upset by what I am saying, that you write disrespectful tweets and words calling Farrakhan ‘Crazy Louie.’ Of course, that is your prerogative to be cheap and disrespectful if that is what you feel, but I am in excellent company when you call me ‘crazy’ or a ‘madman.’ When you refer to me as a ‘madman’ or as ‘crazy’ you put me in good company—in the company of the prophets and messengers of God who challenged the powers of their day with truth.”

Throughout the scriptures, prophets and messengers of God were unafraid of the immense power wielded by the governments they challenged, said Min. Farrakhan. These divine men were often thought insane for daring to challenge powerful and arrogant rulers everyone else feared. Those in power often became so enraged that they sought to kill the representatives of God’s will and truth, said the Minister. The same thing is happening today as some have written that Minister Farrakhan should be “exterminated.”

“Is that the way you do when you cannot support your argument with facts?” he asked. “Just the thought in your mind of being desirous of taking my life when all I am doing is giving you the truth that will guide you away from God’s destructive power—if you think like that, you’ve already sentenced yourself to what you desire for me.”

Other outspoken Black men have been assassinated and that is the pattern of the wicked, but, the Minister said such evil plans would not stop him from delivering the truth to the American people and the world. This warning is really the work of a true patriot, said Min. Farrakhan.

“If you find me to be truthful, then your duty is to aid me not fight me!” said the Minister. “Instead of seeing Farrakhan as a hater of America, you should see me in the light of one who loves the land in which I was born and sees America as the greatest country in the last 6,000 years. And I am warning you because I want to see the country avert the consequences of her evil by encouraging her—in the short time that is left—to really change.”

Then, he delivered direct words to “The Fourth Estate,” a term commonly used to refer to news media and its power to influence society and politics by shaping opinions and views.

“Media, you are under control, and as long as The Fourth Estate is not free, then how will the masses of the people be able to know when their government and their leaders have become tyrannical?” he asked.

The Minister said exposing the nefarious actions of the U.S. government may draw the ire of ruling powers but he was unfazed because he trusts in the power of the divine supreme being.

“Even as I am speaking with you,” said the Minister. “I’m rejoicing, because I’m walking in the path of the prophets of God.”
