“We tried to design a weekend where it’s simple, it’s efficient but it’s effective,” he added.  Events and activities will include Salat-al-Jumu’ah, the Islamic Friday congressional prayer service, park outing on Saturday and culminating with Min. Farrakhan’s Sunday address.

The Family day will include fun activities such as kickball, flag football, softball and bouncers for the children and free, said Bro. Kaz. Reasonably priced food and vending will be available at the park as well. Righteous competition in flag football, softball and other activities good-naturedly pitting region against region is also in the works.

“We are looking at this as a truly international event. We have never looked at it here or even approached it as a Nation of Islam event. I believe that when the Believers come down, as well as all the supporters, they will be pleased to see that this will truly be a diverse event that’s going to attract a lot of nationalities who are anxiously awaiting the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan to come and deliver his message,” said Bro. Kaz.
