WHO: The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam

WHAT & WHY: Minister Louis Farrakhan, National Representative of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad and the Nation of Islam, will speak this weekend on the life and times of Muhammad Ali. The Honorable Elijah Muhammad, patriarch of the Nation of Islam, was the young fighter’s teacher and gave him the name Muhammad Ali. Ali became a major voice against the war in Vietnam and an international cultural, social and political icon. This   event is free and open to the public. Working members of the press are invited to attend. This will be the first extensive remarks by Min. Farrakhan on the passing of Muhammad Ali.

WHEN: Sunday, June 12, 2016, at 10 a.m. CST.
