Mobilizing for Justice Or Else! 10.10.15

All over the United States and abroad, men and women from the Nation of Islam are organizing and mobilizing in cities and towns sharing, informing and preparing communities for the upcoming 20th Anniversary of the Million Man March on October 10 in Washington, D.C. themed, Justice Or Else.

Local Organizing Committees (LOC’s) comprised of Muslims, Christians, Blacks, Native American, Latino and Indigenous communities are working together as excitement and momentum continues to build toward the clarion call made by the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan demanding justice, equity and fair treatment for communities that continue suffering under the thumb of White Supremacy.

In Denver, the presence of the Fruit of Islam (F.O.I.) who are the men of the Nation of Islam, was requested at a Black Lives Matter Rally in honor of Michael Brown Jr. Over 300 showed up to march for victims of violence and to memorialize Michael Brown on the anniversary of his slaying. The men helped to keep the crowd safe and secure. In Detroit, under the direction of Student Minister Troy Muhammad, the Believers are also working diligently with public offi cials and community leaders. In Chicago, the Believers from the West Side of the city distributed fl yers and information at community events. And in Houston, brothers and sisters have also been working non stop.
