LOS ANGELES - The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan’s Hip-Hop media blitz continued June 17 during an interview with one of the most well-known names in urban radio, Big Boy.

Big Boy asked many thought-provoking questions during the time he had with the Minister.

“Let us know, what do we do from here on? We are in an election year, we have social media, we have eyes and ears and are now in a position where we are now turning the cameras on those who have had cameras on us,” Big Boy continued. “What is our next move, or moves?” he asked.

“We are at war whether we know it or not, and this war has to be fought on two fronts. The first front is where we live. We have to find conflict resolution centers that will cause us to end our beefs with one another,” said Min. Farrakhan.

He said those within the Black community must “sheath the swords” that are in the hands of those who are in conflict with each other across the country, and begin to see the value of life.

“Let’s stop the beefs and let’s start organizing,” said Min. Farrakhan. “Then we can turn our attention to Washington, D.C. and the government of the United States of America. We are committed to do our very best—not just to go to Washington, D.C., and talk about ‘Justice…or Else!’  but what is the ‘Or Else’?” he asked.

Big Boy is an author, a businessman, and recently signed a multimillion-dollar deal with iHeartMedia officially moving his wildly popular morning show to iHeart’s Real 92.3 FM. His show provided an excellent forum for Min. Farrakhan to speak directly to the urban youth regarding the time and what must be done. Min. Farrakhan’s voice has emerged as the only one providing solutions to solve the problems found in communities nationwide after decades of ill-conceived policies, social engineering, corrupt political leadership and failed economic strategies.

There have been many who have expressed publicly and privately to Minister Farrakhan, their concern regarding the theme “Justice…or Else!” however, those who have embraced the Minister’s call for unity and the programmatic thrust of the planned 20 year anniversary of the historic Million Man March, which is planned for October 10th.

“Every time God sent a prophet, in the message of the prophet, there was a threat and a warning. So it is today. America, you don’t have a lot of time to play with the lives and the destinies of a people that God has chosen for himself. We are that people. We are the real Children of Israel and you have it there in your scriptures, if you would bless us, you would be blessed by God, but if you continue your evil plans against us, then God will step up the calamities that are facing you from North to South to East to West,” he added.

If the government of the United States does not respond to the cry of the masses of the people for justice, then Min. Farrakhan stated, there will be another level of protest coming from the masses. While invoking the later speeches and writings of the martyr Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., the Minister educated the listeners. Dr. King was more than just, “a man who had a dream,” the Minister noted. He became a threat and was assassinated because he was entering into a new level of awareness and becoming disenchanted with the outcomes generated by previous actions.

“They assassinated him because he evolved in his development towards the position that the Black man and woman of America must have land. He said economic withdrawal is what we should do and when we are in pain, we have to redistribute the pain,” said the Minister quoting Dr. King. “We can strike a blow and redistribute some of this pain that we are suffering.”

At the end of the interview, Big Boy smiled and reached out to shake Min. Farrakhan’s hand.

“This was a pleasure, a true pleasure to actually sit down with you and be in your presence,” he said.

The Minister smiled broadly and replied, “I can’t tell you how much I am in love with your spirit, and I pray that God will continue to bless you and this program with continued success,” said Min. Farrakhan.
