DENVER - The Mighty M.G.T and  G.C.C. of Denver, Colorado gathered together on a glorious morning at The Mile High Youth Corps to get ready to hear a most critical message from the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. We all enjoyed the high spirits, high energy, love, unity, and laughter delivered by the sisters during the Save Our Girls program.

Prior to hearing the Minister, the Majestic M.G.T of the Nation of Islam gave a most phenomenal display and example of what we are and what we strive to become. The women in the audience watching the broadcast via internet paid careful and studious attention to what was shown in regards to Lost Found English Lesson No. 1 Question No. 14— “What is the Meaning of M.G.T & G.C.C?”

During moments in which the live feed from Chicago went out of service, the M.G.T of Denver stood up and continued to teach the sisters in attendance about our Seven Units.

During his address, the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan told us that it was Mother Khadijah, his wife, who has been by his side and has helped him to become who he is. As the woman of God that is what we do. We were created to help our men to reach their fullest potential. We give great honor and thanks and glory to Allah (God) who came in the person of Master Fard Muhammad and the Honorable Elijah Muhammad for raising up for us Mother Khadijah Farrakhan to help the Minister in his mission to resurrect and reform the Black man and Black woman.

After the program, women in attendance responded favorably and with enthusiasm.

“This event has lit my fire and reminded me of why I joined the Nation of Islam in the first place,” said Sister Nya Muhammad.

Ayesha Jaudon, a first-time guest said she came because she wanted to expose her daughter to the Nation of Islam. “She’s 14 and it’s important for her to see the different dynamics so she can choose for herself,” said Sister Ayesha Jaudon.

A local program was also offered in Denver with additional presentations and displays.

The part that stood out to Sister Ayesha was the How to Act at Home and Abroad presentation by Sister Latasha Muhammad in Denver. Learning about different herbs and the importance of why she needed to get her passport made a lasting impression. The local presentation on How To Keep House in preparing for survival also stood out to Sister Ayesha.

“This event has given me more clarity of who I am as a Black woman and what direction I want to move into,” she said.

Sister Renee Muhammad, a Muslim pioneer, said she thought the event was excellent.

“I think the sisters did an excellent job of setting up the displays. I feel peace and love and that’s how it should be.”

Sister Brandy Stewart is currently processing to become a registered member of the Nation of Islam. She said Save Our Girls: A Nation Can Rise No Higher Than Its Woman was very uplifting, encouraging and empowering.  “It is uplifting to know that so much power lies within a woman. We’ve always known it but it’s good to have it broken down into pieces,” said Sister Brandy.
