Greetings to you. I am Minister Louis Farrakhan, National Representative of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad, that Great Preacher of Freedom, Justice and Equality to the Aboriginal People of the Earth, The Eternal Leader of the Nation of Islam, and a Warner to the government and people of the United States of America and the nations of the Earth.

In Parts 13 and 14 of “The Time and What Must Be Done” Lecture Series, we have been reading from the Holy Qur’an, Surah 45 Al-Jathiyah (“The Kneeling”), in a section titled “The Doom”; and so we will begin there again by recapping what is stated in verses 27-28: “And Allah’s is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. And on the day when the Hour comes to pass, on that day will the followers of falsehood perish. And thou wilt see every nation kneeling down. Every nation will be called to its record. This day you are requited for what you did.”

Beloved brothers and sisters, “The Hour” here refers to the time of the end of this present world and its sys-tem of things. And if you can just raise your eyes up from “the party,” from “the dance,” from “the wine,” from “the drugs”—from whatever diversion you are involved in—to look around you, you will see that this world and its sys-tems not only of governance, but of education, religion, politics, and of jurisprudence, are beginning to crumble from within. This is The Hour when man will be requited for he did.

In this ‘Day of Judgment,’ God’s ‘Law of Requital’ applies to all

If this is “that Day”—and it is—when every nation is being called to its record; and the scripture says emphati-cally, “And you will be requited for what you did,” then what is the meaning of the word “requite”? “To requite”means: “To make an appropriate return for a favor, a ser

vice; or, wrongdoing,” “a return or repayment for an injury or wrong,” “to make a return or payment for benefit or in-jury”; it also means, “a reward” and “to retaliate against.” That’s a terrible “day”: A day when somebody is “requit-ed” for what they did!

We are pointing out the things that America has done, internally and externally, and some of the things that America is doing to foreign nations and governments while we speak. So as the Honorable Elijah Muhammad said that “The Principle of Justice” will be “The Weap-on” that God will use in “The Day of Requital,” or, “The Day of Judgment,” then this is “a bad day,” then, for The Wicked—a very bad day. And since we are living in such a time, all of us have to be careful of what we send forth into the lives of others; because in this time, it won’t be a long time before we see it coming back to us in our lives for in the Holy Qur’an it says that if God were to punish man for his sins, “not one soul would be left alive on the earth.”

Whether on an individual basis, a national basis, or an international basis, this is that Time that we will be paid fully for what we have done, and only The Mercy of God can keep back from us what each of us is justly due. So if all are being called to “our record,” and the nations are “kneeling” before their “record”—and this is “The Day of Requital”—then this is why The One Who comes today is called “The Great Mahdi”: He is The Master of “The Law of Requital.”

In the Holy Qur’an, in The Oft-Repeated Prayer of the Muslims found in the seven verses of Surah 1 Al-Fatihah (“The Opening”), Allah (God) is referred to as The Mas-ter of “The Day of Judgment/Requital”: Allah (God) is not a “king” or a “judge” Who is “bound by the law,” He is a “Master” in that He can forgive whom He pleases, and He can punish whom He pleases.

The Wicked are to be ‘laid to rest’ on The Sabbath Day

Study in your Bible the Book of Exodus, Chapter 20, verses 8-11. God made His new man; and, when Moses brought the Torah to the Caucasian people of his day, he gave them a “law.” And in that law, he told them that they should practice “keeping the Sabbath”: “Six days shall you labor, and on the seventh day, you rest from your labor.” That “seventh day” is “The Sabbath”—it is holy, and it should be consecrated for the worship of God. However, you’ll find in the scriptures that Jesus is excoriated, or con-demned, because he did work on the Sabbath!

In the Book of Luke, Chapter 14, verses 1-6, Jesus was told by some of the rabbinical scholars of his day that he had “violated the law,” and Jesus answered them, say-ing: “What man having a donkey or an ox that had fallen in a ditch would not pull that animal out on the Sabbath?”

And in the Book of Mark, Chapter 2, verses 23-28, Jesus was being questioned again about the work he was per-forming on this holy day, and then Jesus told his question-ers: “The Sabbath was made for man, but man was not made for the Sabbath.” What did he mean?

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad has taught us that “a day with The Lord” is as “1,000 years.” So when this “contrary man” was made in our image and our likeness, and given dominion over the Earth and its people for 6,000 years, this contrary man, this rebellious man, this sinful man was given The Sabbath by Moses to remind him: “Af-ter your 6,000 years of your work”—and what is “your work”?—“to create mischief, and cause the shedding of blood” on The Coming of The Presence of God in The Anointing of “The Mahdi” or “The Christ” with Power to crush The Wicked—in that day, you will “rest from all your labor.” Rest from all of your evil, all your lying, all your mischief-making, all your snooping, all of your accusations against The Righteous Servants of God! You’re going to rest from that…

And so when someone passes, you know how they say “R.I.P.” (“rest in peace”)? Well in that Sabbath when The God of Heaven comes, and His Power is put to crush The Wicked and their civiliza-tion in all its forms or manifestations, then you will rest from your labor, and you will rest in peace.

“Peace” will then be “The Watchword” of The New World that is called “The Kingdom of God,” or “The Hereafter”— a word made up of two adverbs denoting “place” and “time”: Here on this Earth, After The Wicked have been laid to rest.

“The Seventh Day”/“The Sabbath,” the Honorable Elijah Muhammad teaches, is meant for “the true worship of God.” So those who are called “Seventh Day Adven-tists” believe Christ’s Return, or Christ’s Coming, is in “The 7,000th Year,” and they are correct! During this new mil-lennium which we have now entered, all wickedness—all wickedness—will cease, and all of The Wicked shall be “purged,” or taken from existence. So, in the scrip-ture of the Book of Malachi, Chapter 4, verses 4-6, this day is called “a great and a dreadful day of The Lord.” “Great” for some, “dreadful” for most; because it will be great for those whom Allah pardons, it will be great for those whom His Mer-cy touches, and it will be great for those whom His Forgiveness is seen in them.

But the saddest thing about such is that today, many who claim to be the “servants of God,” the “preachers of righteousness,” supposedly—the sheiks, the mullahs, the imams, the priests, the cardinals, even popes are not interested in re-shaping the people, and transforming the lives of the people mentally, morally and spiritually, that they might be able to be acceptable to The God of The Sabbath. And this is why Paul said, “Be ye not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of our minds.”

A ‘dangerous time’ for those who compromise righteousness on The Sabbath Day

Please refer to what we have previ-ously discussed in “The Time and What Must Be Done” Lecture Series about the “Mystery Babylon” spoken of in scrip-ture. While “Ancient Babylon” was a city in Iraq, the “Mystery Babylon” spoken of in the Book of Revelation is not a “city,” and it’s not even a “country.”

“Babylon” is a worldthat is in total rebellion to The Way of God and His Righteousness—and it is headquartered in the United States of America.

America’s influence is seen throughout the Earth, and so in Parts 13 and 14, we also talked about “the foreign policy of our government”: The meddling in the affairs of nations; creating coups and counter-coups; teaching members of other nations “the art of interrogation,” the science of interrogation, and the science of assas-sination and sabotage; and the creating of mischief in all of these nations of the Earth which has caused the loss of tens of thousands, even millions, of lives. We also showed the presidents of the United States that have lied to the American people; that in these last 100 years since the creation of the Federal Reserve System (1913-2013), those presidents have been lying to the American people, getting America into war—war that America didn’t have the money to prosecute; so she has always had to borrow money. Whereas now, dur-ing “100 Years of War” and “100 Years of Borrowing,” and “100 Years of Mischief-Making,” America is in tremendous debt; a debt that she probably will never be able to pay.

Consider when you have borrowed money, and when it comes time for those to whom you are indebted to call for your debt to be paid: You know that you don’t have the money to pay the debt, and the collateral that you may have put up—you don’t want to give up! And that is why America is constantly spending so much money on “defense,” billions upon billions of dollars to make more weapons of war, more deadly ways to kill others, so that when it’s time to pay the debt, she’ll put up her “arms” against the debtor.

America owes China about a $1 tril-lion now … and if China tried to “call the debt,” what would America’s response be? China could collapse America’s economy, along with Japan and other nations of the Earth that America has borrowed from! And this is why, America, you are in deep trouble: Because debt is another form of “slavery”; and so you are bound, now, to your debt—you can’t seem to find your way out of it! And just as Europe is show-ing you that the people are rising because their governments are implementing aus-tere measures (i.e. “cutting public spend-ing,” “increasing taxes”)—and the people can’t take it—then this bears witness to what the Honorable Elijah Muhammad said: “What you see afar soon will be com-ing to our door.”

This is The Day of Requital: So this de-struction in this Day of Requital will not only affect America, but it will affect all those that America has brought into her sphere of influence. This is a dangerous time for The Righteous to “get in bed”

with this “Mystery Babylon”! This is a dangerous time for us to compromise The Principles that have been taught to us by our prophets and messengers of God, to find “acceptance” in this Babylonian Em-pire! This is a dangerous time, brother preachers and teachers of religion, for you to compromise righteousness on The Sabbath!

This is The Day of God: So do you want to “rest in peace”—rest from your labor of compromise? As “a watchman on the wall” you refuse to guide and warn the people of the terrible day that the Earth and its people have entered? What kind of a “watchman” are you? Imams, sultans and sheiks, who have gotten in bed with the Babylonian Empire, com-ing under their influence: Do you think that your “many prayers a day” will spare you from The Wrath of God in His Day, when He comes to end wickedness and establish righteousness on the Earth? Oh, my beloved Christian Family: Have not you prayed, “Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in heaven”? Are you shocked, now, at The Announcement that The Kingdom has come—it is now on the Earth? Are you shocked, now, that The Truth that will correct the old world and bring in The New is also here—and those with the courage and the heart to preach it, regardless of the consequences of preach-ing such Truth, are also present? This is a dangerous time…

This is a dangerous time also for the gifted and talented members of God’s Peo-ple, who use their gifts, skills and talents to further the Babylonian Empire and their evil way of life! This is why in the Book of Revelation, Chapter 18, an angel cries out, saying: “Babylon is fallen, is fallen, because she has become a habitation of devils, and a hold of every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hateful bird,” and another voice cried out from heaven:

“Come out of her, my people, that you be not partakers of her sins, and her plagues, for her sins have reached unto heaven…”

What is the recompense for those who administer ‘suffering’ and ‘loss’?

Jesus mentioned this “Law of Requital” in these words found in the Book of Ga-latians, Chapter 6, verse 7: “Be not de-ceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”

Also, in the Book of Hosea, Chapter 8, verse 7, Jesus said that if you “sow the wind” you will “reap the whirlwind”— because Nature never gives you “exactly” what you gave. Nature always gives you more; so if you’ve done “good,” God will give you more than the good that you have done.

But   for   the   “evildoer”: God will bring recompense on your head. And for The Wicked who persist in evil: Oh, this “whirlwind” is now blowing at your door!

• “Recompense”—what does that mean? “To make amends to someone for loss or harm suffered.” The Black Man and Woman in America, who have “lost” at her hands: You took away our names, our language, our culture, our re-ligion, our God. You ripped us from our country; you deprived us of the knowledge of our own history. And then you shackled us in chattel slavery for 310 years. What is the recompense for such a crime against humanity?
• The Indigenous people of America (“Indians”/“Native Americans”), and what America has done to them: You’ve slaughtered them. And you have deprived them of justice, even to the moment of this broadcast! What is the recompense, Amer-ica, for what you have done?
• The  Mexican  brother  and  sister:  America, you have millions of Mexi-cans here today and you stole a part of “Mexico” through war, through treachery, through trickery! You remember that Tex-as was once theirs—and Arizona and New Mexico; and California, and parts of Utah and Colorado! And now you’re angry with them for coming across the border? But you invited them!

You business people, who saw yourself losing “the bottom line”: You saw “cheap labor” overseas, so you moved your facto-ries overseas; and you saw “cheap labor” below the border, so you encouraged them to come across the border and you gave them jobs at cheap labor in your factories, and your “bottom line” was increased. But today, they’ve become a source of displea-sure for you, because they’re here now, by the millions, and now you are wrestling with “the problem” of “What shall we do?” Well, you’ll figure it out…

And if you don’t, God has already fig-ured it out for you.

Oh, what is the recompense? What is The Law of Requital for what you have done, America? I’d like to share with you something from this great book by the Honorable Elijah Muhammad called The Fall of America from Chapter 37 titled

“America’s Land Being Divinely Cur-tailed.” The Honorable Elijah Muham-mad writes on page 161: “Now you see what is going on. As America has done, so now it is being done unto her. America has surrounded the countries of other peoples [and nations]. She has blown their cities to pieces and she has killed their inhabitants. [And]those who were left alive she put to

flight, running for shelter from the destruction [of] America’s might. It is very sad and horrible to look at the things that America has done, which are now coming on this country”—and her world of influence.

“For many years—centuries of years, America has lived a luxuri-ous, wicked life, while hating her Black slaves and depriving them of justice—shooting them down on the streets, on the highways and in the woods and fields, for nothing. She did it just because she felt that she had the advantage; and she wanted to kill Black people, as she was made to do.”

In a future broadcast, by The Grace of God, I want to go into the nature of the “Made Man” that is called “mankind”—not “The Original Man,” but a kind of “man,” made to rule The Origi-nal Man with a Contrary System of “Tricks” and “Lies”! In the Bible, in the Book of Psalms, in the 10th Chapter, the 8th verse, it reads: “He sitteth in the lurk-ing places of the villages: in the secret places doth he murder the innocent: his eyes are set against the poor.” It is sad that America’s concern for “the middle class” and “the wealthy,” and “the super-rich,” does not come down to “the suffering working poor,” and those who have no jobs, and no future.

There are nearly 50 million Ameri-cans living in poverty: Where is their “voice” in the Congress, when Congress is bowing to the industrialists, bowing to corpo-rate America, bowing to those who would destroy “democra-cy”? Where is the voice for the “little man,” the “little woman”? The little White man and woman that works hard; the little Brown man, the little Black man? The little Asian that works hard? Where is their “voice” today?

Soon we will talk to you about the bill H.R. 933 just signed into law by President Barack Obama on March 26, 2013—a law that was written by Monsanto [an agricul-ture corporation], and then carried to Congress by U.S. Senator Roy Blunt. It is a law that now allows

“Genetically Modified Organ-isms” [GMOs] to be put on the

people of America, and the people of the world, to consume. And, if we get sick, or die, from eating these “organisms,” this law has already stripped those who might suffer from any recourse or redress in the federal courts of America!

Oh, America: Look at what you are becoming … And soon we will also go into the “Prison In-dustrial Complex,” and show you why today you have 2.3 million Black men, Brown men and poor White men, and women, in prison! And why this “prison corpora-tion,” that is now on Wall Street, wants to buy up the state prisons, and even federal prisons; however, “the caveat” in that is you “must keep your prisons filled to 90 per-cent of occupancy.” Who are you going to fill your prisons with? Oh, “The Recompense,” “The Law of Requital”…

America, do you think you can “take” what you have de-lighted in “dishing out” to others?

In  the  Holy  Qur’an,  in  the 22nd Surah titled “The Pilgrim-age,” it begins with two verses that I would like to talk about: “O peo-ple, keep your duty to your Lord; surely the shock of the Hour is a grievous thing. The day you see it, every woman giving suck will for-get her suckling and every preg-nant one will lay down her burden, and thou wilt see men as drunken, yet they will not be drunken, but the chastisement of Allah will be severe.”

The Honorable Elijah Muham-mad, again, writes in his monu-mental book The Fall of America, in Chapter 39 titled “The House Doomed To Fall” on page 168:

“The great deceivers of the world will reap what they have sown. Have they not corrupted many people and nations under the guise of good, peaceful, loving Christians? The [so-called] Chris-tian West is [guilty] of the worst crimes, practicing evils and inde-cencies to the fullest and seeking to practice them [in] [and] on other nations as well. Universal tempt-ers are ever parading before the world their bold half -nude girls and women. They are before your eyes in almost everything. …” Not even “half-nude” anymore; nearly “all-the-way” nude! And we, The Aboriginal People of the Earth,

born of The Righteous, are follow-ing them in this disgraceful man-ner of showing ourselves before the world; dressing like the har-lots that are on the street corners of every major city and town in America! He continues: “Murder, gambling, robbery, drunkenness, drugs, adultery, lying, [drug ad-diction]—there is hardly any end to it.”

“Their lands and seas are filled with deadly weapons of war; their islands of the sea are afloat with corruption by all the na-tions of earth, for they are proud and boastful and [are now hated and] despised according to their wishes. …They command the sea with their powerful navies, park-ing them off the shores of other na-tions”—as they are doing now in Asia; as they’ve done in the Gulf of Sirte, or Sidra, in The Mediterra-nean, and as they are doing in oth-er parts of the world. “They secure air bases on their soils to place their deadly bomb-carrying planes within easy striking distances of those whom they fear to be their enemies. Is this not the easy way to make more enemies?” Don’t you have enough? “Is this the act of a real Christian, the followers of Jesus whom they preach came into the world for the peace of mankind and to teach the sheathing of the sword and the turning of the other cheek? When did you ever become a “Christian”? To be a “Christian” means to be Christ-like…

Do you think that these ac-tions of our government toward the people and nations of the Earth are “the actions of Jesus Christ”? Or are they the actions of a Devil “posing”—and using The Good Name of a Righteous Servant of God to shield dirty ac-tions behind The Noble Name of “Jesus”?

You mock Jesus! And that’s why Jesus said, “God is not mocked,” for you will reap what you have sown.

‘Sport and play,’ transitory life, used to divert us away from Divine Guidance, Warning

My beloved brothers and sis-ters: The world in which we live is called a “transitory world,” and its life is a “transitory life.” “Transi-tory” means that of a “passing na-ture”—not enduring, not perma-nent, but “temporary,” “fleeting.” There is nothing “permanent” about this world … It is referred to in the Holy Qur’an as “a life” of “sport” and “play.”

Well, let’s look at the defini-tion of “sport”: “Any activity or experience that gives enjoyment and/or recreation; a pastime for diversion”; “such an activity, espe-cially when competitive, requiring more or less vigorous bodily exer-tion; and carried on sometimes as a profession”; and, “an object of ‘ridicule,’ ‘laughing stock’”; “as a thing or person buffeted about as though ‘a plaything’.”

We live in a world that doesn’t take Life seriously. People jump-ing over high hills on snowmo-biles—they call them “daredev-ils”—doing things that are intrigu-ing to look at, but not what Life’s Purpose is all about. It’s a “diver-sion.” In biology, “sport” means:

“A plant or animal showing some marked variation from the normal type, usually as a result of muta-tion.” See, this is a people that show “a marked variation” from The Original Type as a result of “a mutation.” This world is a “joke,” and the people in it just tell jokes, and trifle, and make mockery and ridicule. Well, the definition of “play” is the same: “Engaging in an activity for enjoyment and recreation, other than for serious or practical purposes.” Even sex-ual activity is called “play.” The whole idea of “sport and play” is a diversion.

To “divert” you away from what? To keep you blind to

“The Time and What Must Be Done”—if we are to escape loss; “for surely man is in loss, except those who believe” in the preach-ing of “The Time” and change their way, and start “the doing of good,” and who believe in “ex-horting man to patience, and to truth” (Holy Qur’an, Surah 103)!

Well, America: Nebuchadne-zzar used “sport and play,” and “music,” to divert peoples’ at-tention away from The Fall of Babylon.

So to my beloved musicians, and rappers, and my great artists and cultural icons; you great ath-letes: You fascinate the world with the majesty of your playing. But every time we look at a game, we spend hours of diversion; we look at a “fight,” and that is hours of

diversion! We look at “sport and play” as diversion—and while our head is watching the majesty of the talented people of God, we are diverted away from the suffer-ing that’s going on all around us:

We’re diverted from the crash-ing dollar that is falling! We are diverted from the soon-to-come crash of the stock market! We are diverted from the suffering of our own poverty, and lack of necessities.

But soon, “The Shock” of The Hour will be here, and you won’t be able to watch a “game.” This is The Time in which we live.

The Principle of Justice is ‘fair dealing’

“The Principle of Justice” is “fair dealing,” because justice lies down with you when you “lie down,” and justice gets up with you when you “wake up.” And what does that mean? It means we can never escape the consequences of our actions.

So, to The People of God, my beloved Black brothers and sis-ters, and to all those who wish to change and practice righteousness:

• Don’t you think “it’s time” that we made a serious thought about changing the way we think, the way we act, the way we live, the way we eat, the way we treat one another?
  
• Don’t you think “it’s time” to “take off the old man” that is according to Adam and The Re-bellion of This World, and “put on the new man” which is after Christ Jesus—that Great One Who comes in The Sabbath to set up a King-dom of Righteousness?
• Don’t you want to be a part of that which God makes “new”?

Then my counsel, my advice, my Warning to you in The Name of Allah—in The Name of The Great Mahdi, Master Fard Muhammad, and in The Name of His Great Mes-siah, the Honorable Elijah Mu-hammad, Both of Whom are Alive and Present, and in Power: Don’t you think you should pay atten-tion to what They are Guiding me to say, and act accordingly?

If you do, God will aid you in making a change. We are living in The Doom of this world, and we will be requited for what we do. Let us pray that The Mercy of God, and God’s Protection, will be with all who seek Righteousness.
