The reality of Mahdi, Messiah and the end of Satan's rule

My last article ended with these words: “Fifty-five months later, on September 17, 1985, the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan was granted a vision, in which he was taken up to that huge wheel-like plane—that is very physically real. There the Honorable Elijah Muhammad spoke to him.”

(In the second printing of the little book, Is It Possible That The Honorable Elijah Muhammad Is Still Physically Alive? I related that “possibility” [which is a fact to many of us] of the Minister’s vision.)

Consider this again. About two billion people, at present, claim to believe in Jesus. There are Christians as well as Muslims who believe that he is alive and up in the sky, with God, in heaven. Both groups claim that they expect him to return to earth at the time of the judgment.

In fact, although there are some differences in certain details, both groups expect him to have a major part in the work of God during that entire time period. (I believe most Black people are unaware of the detailed expectations to be found in the thinking and in the writing of “leading” Jews, Christians and Muslim thinkers.)

If all of these people are right, are we all to expect the return of that same man—Jesus—who was here 2,000 years ago? How many of these two, or so, billion people really expect that same man to appear? How would they know that he is the one? What would he say and do that would enable all of these people to recognize him as that same Jesus who was here, in what is now called the Middle East, 2,000 years ago?

What of the leaders of Christianity and of Islam? They are responsible, in a large way, for what their publics believe. They have spent more time studying the prophecies pertaining to the coming of the Messiah, than those they are teaching. However, the question must be raised: how well does their scholarship compare with reality?

Has God, The Supreme Being prepared for this? What about the fact that the Bible and the Holy Qur’an are so widespread on the earth! Is this a factor that will help billions to see the truth of which the Honorable Elijah Muhammad taught of which the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan is a prime witness?

The Muslims expect the coming of the Mahdi. They claim that both the Mahdi and the Messiah will be together, in the last days. In fact, these two are the most important figures in that time period known as the end of the world.

There is much that has already been said and written on this subject, by the wise; the not so wise and especially now by us, in America, some, (but not all) of whom are very arrogant and foolish.

Let us remember the scholars of the Jewish, Muslim and Christian worlds, for the most part have depended upon or followed the traditions of the scholars before them. Is it not a fact, that all of these persons labored in this world, which has been ruled by Satan? Satan is the ruler of the very world in which these scholars have become scholarly.

Is it not also a fact that the (technical) end of Satan’s rule only recently expired in 1914? Finally is it not a fact that Satan’s world rule has only recently begun to be interrupted by a superior power? The scholars and scientists of religion—regardless to which—were not as wise as God’s prophets.

So if the prophets could not overcome Satan’s rule, what makes these scholars think they really have the ultimate truth of things that will enable them to think beyond Satan’s grasp? What makes so many of us talk as if they are the final authority?

They may be on the outer edge of this world’s knowledge. However, they fall short of the lowest end of the wisdom of God, The Supreme Being. This was proven when He met with the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and gave him many proofs over and over. How can you prove that?

(They have given no evidence that they are really acquainted with what is beyond what the Bible calls the veil, and which the Holy Qur’an calls the “Unseen.” Of course, now since God’s truth is spreading, even this is changing.)

Consider the best scholarship, whether it be, Jewish, Christian or Muslim, with respect to the coming of the Messiah and the Mahdi. Regardless to how much they know, or have learned, about the coming of these Two, their wisdom will necessarily fall short of the understanding that the self-concept, of these Two generates, once that information is released. In other words the truth of the Messiah, for instance, cannot be fully known until He comes.

He is the truth of Himself. The scholars and others can only gain the ultimate truth concerning Him after He comes and is fully unveiled.

Again, among the prime function of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan is what he is doing: representing the Messiah’s reality and presence!

Among the tremendous changes taking place in every field of human endeavor are the tremendous changes that are rapidly taking place in the thinking of the scholars of religion. This, of course, includes the thinking of the scholars of the world about Jesus.

I have no idea how many studies have been made about how much of what is in the Bible are the words of Jesus. Common sense tells us that he had to have spoken much more than the relatively few words that we read of in The New Testament, during the course of the time (it is claimed) that the gospels cover.

I have read, however, some interesting studies that powerfully argue that he did not—even could not—have spoken some of the things those books record. Many scholars teach that he never taught much of what we’ve been told that he taught. Such books can be found in libraries all over the U.S.A.

Was the Biblical massacre of babies, during the time of Jesus, or at the time he was born, fact, or fiction? How does this alleged historical incident relate to the ideas, or traditions, of some Muslims, concerning the concealing of the birth and upbringing of the promised Mahdi? There are connections according to studies of the writings of some Muslims; especially among the Shias.

Note: Master Fard Muhammad is not a Shia. That term does not fit Him, at all. It is too limited. Nor was the Honorable Elijah Muhammad a follower of Marcus Garvey or Noble Drew Ali; although he respected both of them.

An interesting question that should be put on the table of discussion, is did Muhammad ibn Abduallah ever claim to be the Messiah the Jews, and other believers in the prophets, expected?

If not, why not?
